I read this book in high school between 2003-2006. I believe it was new. It was for Young adults. It started off like a regular book and then the guy went to a Doctor and they told him to write in a journal so then the rest of the book turned into a journal. I think he was in some sort of accident that gave him amnesia (or some kind of disorder) and he had to relearn a lot of things. When he first started writing in his journal he cant spell very good and as the book goes on he gets better but I believe at the end he relapses I'm not sure. Please Help!!!!

Sorry I was way off but I did find it! Its Flowers for algernon! lol Its funny how miskewed my memory is.
