How about adding in the explanation for what each letter stands for, when you contribute the acronym? All you guys.

message 11: by Jerry (new)

Jerry (banjo1) | 42 comments CINCUS=Commander-in-chief United States Fleet. It was renamed the Pacific Fleet after Pearl Harbor for obvious reasons. OSS=Office of Strategic Services, precursor to the CIA. ONI=Office of Naval Intelligence.
Okay, I'm clean, boss.

Karl Øen | 38 comments Sure thing, Feliks. SOE (Special Operations Executive) British Intelligence concerned with agents and sabotage in occupied Europe, Milorg (Militær Organisasjon = Millitary Organization) was the secret Norwegian Army (Resistance) cooperating with The British/The Allies trough SOE, but accountable only too The Norwegian Exile Government and The Norwegian King.

Jerry (banjo1) | 42 comments Or, as Winston Churchill wrote, "Action today." And those memos on which the words were inscribed had better be as brief as possible, or someone was in trouble.
