Sam | 606 comments You might be thinking who hasn't see this movie... Well me actually. I was told about the story line, accidentally told about the movie ending and well after that just never go around to seeing it.

Thought if I started this group and asked how others liked the movie compared to the book or in general how they liked the movie (acting, scenes, script etc.) maybe I would get the push to watch or read this story!

Lea Clark | 8 comments Loved the book! Loved the movie too, but if I had to pick... book. Read the book.

Sam | 606 comments Was there a scene that really stood out to make this romance stand out... I don't mean for u to give away things. Maybe how it made you feel... Or made u compare to other stories?

For me the ending was just so heartbreaking and beautiful and everything. the rest of the movie was way too chic flick for me, and I honestly can't remember if I read the book or not...I'm assuming not since I can't remember it off hand....

Lea Clark | 8 comments I think Dana nailed it. It is chick lit, but whether you read the book or watch movie, the ending is so emotional. I think the movie ending is cheerier (not necessarily bad though). I felt the book was more realistic and raw.

Yes! Way more realistic! I feel like Hollywood ruins most of Sparks books...making them into glorified love stories, when the books have a lot more going on that just guy meets girl and all that! They are not my favorite type of books, but I enjoy them well enough. The movies they all are turned into, however, get on my last nerve often!

Rachel Both are heartbreaking and beautiful. I cried while reading the book, and seeing the movie. The story is very moving. Every girl should read this book.

I have seen this movie once, and yes, it made me cry. I tried to read the book, but just couldn't get into it. I even tried several times because I liked the movie!

Summer | 7 comments Such an amazing book and movie. I thought the movie did great justice to the novel. Honesty how can Ryan Gosling and Rachel Mcadams do any wrong!? Nicholas Sparks is such a magician with his words. They are so powerful, captivating and gut wrenching you have no choice but to follow along and love every single word you read. The notebook will always be one of my favourites.
