Forgive the caps - I'm not yelling just trying to get everyone's attention. Honest.

There is some miscommunication I take responsibility for and want to address before it gets out of hand. I'm going to make changes after work to specify this but am hoping to stem some of the issues.

- Start new topics. DO NOT keep recommending books in the threads for FAQa and guidelines.

- Start an individual topic PER BOOK so all the posts will be solely for that topic.

- In the topic title please include the NAMES of both the BOOK and AUTHOR so we can keep things organized.

- INCLUDE LINKS to the books you mention so we can all check them out.

Again - don't take this as anger or yelling. I'm only capable of doing so much from my phone app but want to address problems.

I appreciate everyone who joined. Hopefully nobody is discouraged by this shakey start and I want people to feel good about participating.

Me loving Fringe Fiction -> \_(^o^)_/

T.A. Uner (tauner) So what's the best Indie book or books read by any member the last 6 months?

Interesting discussion!

Feel free to start a separate topic in general chat so people can share :)

No this was just an announcement encouraging members to start new threads for individual topics.

As I said in my reply, this is not the place to post a discussion only an announcement encouraging members to start individual threads for any new topics they want to discuss.

I thought I'd comment on here to encourage people to start creating some new topics given this group has seen a heavy decline in use. Feel free to create new topics and post them in the appropriate folders. If you post in the wrong folder no worries as a mod will move the folder for you.

Let's get creative!

Virginia Rand I feel a bit guilty because I've lost interest. It fells like this group has become a lot more writer centered, and I'm mostly a reader.

I hear ya Virginia. A lot of our threads for readers and recommended books have got lost in the shuffle. I have been wanting to get the group back up and running again.

I will gladly do my best to get some of the red folders up and running so people can rec and read some books. If you can tell me which genres your most interested in I will pop those up first.

Virginia Rand I'm one of those annoying people who likes a very specific kind of book that isn't differentiated by the classic genres. Strong female characters, fast plot, intelligent characters, good writing, third person, etc.

In other words, I'm just too picky.

That's not annoying! Those are some of my favorite books to write :)

Hard to search for, though...

Everyone feel free to create new topics and if you have ideas for new threads please suggest them in the Group Suggestions folder.
