I really loved the first three books, with each book getting better! I thought four was okay and really didn't like five, too many comments about Jace smelling like soap LOL! In some ways I wish she'd made it just a trilogy, like The Infernal Devices, which was perfect! But I'll still read the sixth book and hope for an awesome ending!

I've read SO many series! Let's see, I'm obsessed with and recently really enjoyed :) Those are just a few but there are so many more series I'm addicted too LOL!!!

I read Infernal Devices first. I'm now reading City of Fallen Angels. Was definitely seeing the similarities in relationships of the series but I'm glad Clary & Jace got their parental issues sorted.

Yes! So was I. I didn't like that book as much, I should reread it though. Now that I have read infernal devices!

i'm on city of fallen angels right now and i think the books steadily got better. the best thing about these books is the snark. also, simon and jace are hilarious when placed in a room together.

read the prequal i thought it was just as good as this series first book is you will like it just has much as this series

I freaking love this series! I just finished reading Clockwork Prince and can not wait to get my hands on Clockwork Princess. I love all these characters. Magnus is a favorite in the Mortal Instrument Series and I adore Will, Jem amd Tessa in the Infernal Devices.

i agree i love will jem and tessa. i love magnus. alec is a butt head thats all i have to say cuz i know not everyone has read the 5th book

I really liked The Mortal Instruments, but not the Clockwork series. I guess I find the part angel concept more appealing than machines.

I like both. TMI and Clockwork series. They are different from each other except for all the love triangle vibe.

I loved TMI until the 3rd book.
Didn't like the 5th book. For me it was like "I'll build up a story until page 200 and then say that none of it was real. All the alternative universe which Jace doesn't have any will, really hoped that the author would focused in other things.
Also hope that the sixth book will be better.

I've downloaded the 5th book and planned on reading 5 and 6 together. Just read the first one in the Clockwork series and it wasn't my gig. However I'm not a teenage girl so I'm not really the target audience.

i liked the infernal devices. i might have liked TMI but started disliking it by the time i read COFA. too much of jace is aggravating.

I read City of Bones ayear ago, I really liked it, but also I didn't had time to continue with the Serie... until this april when I started CoA & now I'm going to start with CoG <3

Indeed, I agree. Jace was annoying in that one. But the CoLS is better!

Lucky! I haven't seen it yet. I heard a bunch of negative reviews about the actor that played Jace but I refuse to let that change how I see the movie. Do you think he did a decent job?

he did a great job I think, maybe not as cocky and arrogant, alomost to nice but still pretty good. cant expect it to be as good as the book tho
