Adding a cover to an edition already created, via snapping pic with my kindle fire?

I currently have the 1977 hardcover edition of Second Sight: A Novel, by David L. Williams checked out of the library. The cover is not the one on the later editions. I could snap a picture of it with my kindle fire hd, but I don't know how I could then update the cover.

Can I email a photo to a librarian, and have them do it? Or create another edition, uploading from my computer (leaving out the ISBN number), then have a librarian combine the editions? Another way? I'd love to help stick a cover image on that edition if I could :).

Upload the photo to your profile on Goodreads, then post the link back here and someone can fix it.

Okay, so, I uploaded a portrait photo, but got a landscape counterclockwise rotated photo ... not sure if you can use this. I hope so:

i donwloaded the photo, rotated it, and uploaded it to goodreads. you can feel free to delete the photo from your profile now.

fyi, amazon and worldcat are two acceptable sources for covers on goodreads. amazon had a cover photo for the book with your isbn, so you could have also just linked to amazon's page like so:
