Anthology without Editor

Perfect entry (not mine :-)), all authors listed, correctly ordered.

BUT: Stieg Larsson is NOT the primary author. The editor (in his role as an Editor) should be the primary author, but there is none mentioned anywhere (I have an electronic copy of the work in front of me).

Is there any "generic" anthology editor to whom this work may be attributed as primary author?

The "solution" to leave the authors in order of appearance (or alphabetical order) thereby creating an arbitrary primary author is highly unsatisfactory...

There is no such thing as a generic editor.

The GR policy, is to list the editor of an anthology and if there isn't one, then to list the authors in order of appearance on the cover or index. Failing that, they get listed alphabetically.

The system has worked for years, so I don't see it changing anytime soon.
