Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi smiled softly. "Yeah. Well. Biker dude could label you. And that's pretty bad, so I'm happy." She teased, walking to the couch with him. She sat across his lap, her head rested on his shoulder, one hand relaxing on his chest. She nodded then. "Tell me about it." She said, huffing. Being alone her whole life had been no where near enjoyable. Then she bit her lip. "Listen. Just because we're together doesnt mean you have to be protective of me. If I....." she shuddered. "If I get caught.... dont come after me ok? I dont want you getting messed up in this too."

message 302: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments Drayven nodded, "Oh yeah, at least I'm not some gang member though, going out and killing the innocent." He smiled a bit, he was so happy. He didn't care she sat across his lap, but he was actually very happy about that. He smiled softly, hugging onto her tightly. "Well, I'm sorry to tell you this. But I don't have a life, and you're really my only friend so.... too bad and you're gunna have to deal with me going after you. Plus, you're never away from me, they're bound to take me anyways." He started kissing her cheek, just enjoying her company. "But how about we have this chat later? This is a good moment."

message 303: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi shrugged, smiling a little then. "Yeah. Good thing. " she agreed, shaking her head at that. Her smile disappeared when he said he would come after her anyways. It made her feel sick to hear him say he had no life. Was he really that bleak when looking at his future. She wanted to cry right then and there. Or at least argue with him about how his life was worth living, and how her life wasnt worth enough for him to give up his own to save. But his last words stopped her and she nodded in resignation. "Alrightm we can chat about that later." She agreed, closing her eyes when he kissed her cheek. She knew she was as innocent as a school girl when it came to him or any boys for that matter, but his touch had such an effect on her she was slightly embarrassed. Even a brush of his fingers or lips on her cheek would make her shiver and blush.

message 304: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments Drayven had no hope for a future. He was just a common thief that went around and took what he needed and sometimes what he wanted. He had no life, and he didn't think he'd ever get one. He wasn't going to be able to finish high school, he wouldn't go to college, he really didn't have a job. He could fix up automobiles but that was about it. He didn't know if anyone would give him a job for that, but then again, he wasn't planning on living past the age of 30. Probably suicide. Who knew. Probably motorcycle crash. Heck, he may even be a racer if he lived that long.

He nodded down to her, kissing her head again. He laid back, putting his arms around her and stroked her arm. She was so pretty. So perfect. He looked at her face, "Don't worry about me." He whispered. He hugged her again.

message 305: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi watched him, watched the sorrow in his eyes, watched the hope disappear, and it tore her heart out. How could he live like that? How could anyone live like that? Yes, she had a horrible life too, but she always held onto hope. And he looked like he had none.

She bit her lip, her eyes stinging with tears. "But thats just it." She said softly. "I do worry about you. I worry about you when you leave for any amount of time. I worry you'll get shot or caught and wont come back. When im alone I worry ill never see you again. I worry ill be alone forever again." Her bottom lip trembled slightly. "Dont you see?" She asked, tipping her eyes so she could look at him. "Maybe the words are to strong to use, I dont know. But I love you. I really do."

message 306: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments Drayven listened to her as she started to burst out crying, feeling sorry for asking her not to worry about him. He was so used to these lands he didn't really fear anything. He did smile though, putting his hand on the side of her face. "Thank you for caring about me." He whispered. He leaned in and kissed her lips, "And you say you love someone when you're ready to say it. It's never too soon." He smiled. "I believe I am in love with you. If I wasn't, I wouldn't go to so much trouble." He laughed.

"But just know, I'm going to do everything in my power to protect you. That's what boyfriends do, that's what I'm going to do. You're all that's worth living for, I'm finally not alone." He hugged her close. "So, how about we decide to fight these bastards together instead of drawing lines?"

message 307: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi leaned into his hand and a small smile appeared. She reached up and wiped her eyes, closing them when he kissed her. When he laughed, her smile grew a bit, and she leaned her head back on his chest. In some way, she started to wprry when he said he would protect her, but she was also relieved that she had someone looking out for her. She hugged him tightly and kissed his chest. "Alright." She said softly. "If you're sure about this... I mean. Theres no telling what they'll do to you if they catch you...." she bit her lip. "And it wont be pretty." She kissed his cheek. "But id give myself to them if only to have them leave you alone." She said seriously.

message 308: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments Drayven didn't care what was going to happen to him, he never did. He liked going with the flow. "It's better than sitting here alone." He shrugged, "Trust me, this is going to be a lot better than what else I'd do with my life." He shrugged, "Plus, how can you pass up such an adventure as this? It'll be amazing and fun." He knew that it wouldn't be pretty, "And you do know that's cliche right? They're never really going to let someone go if someone turns themselves in. I need to teach you movie logic." He said.

message 309: by Lara (last edited Aug 31, 2014 01:55PM) (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi sighed and rested her head on his shoulder, deciding that he was hopeless to argue with. "Alright. Alright. You've made your point, but I still think you're suicidal for doing this." She joked, shaking her head. Then she blushed sheepishly. "Well it was worth mentioning. You know I havent watched movies besides the ones I've seen with you." She shook her head slowly. "Thanks for taking care of me, ps. I know the past weeks ive been a pain in the neck." She sighed. Having stitches had not been the most enjoyable thing at all. The nickname he gave her being the only thing she ever wanted to remember. Being helpless as a child had been humbling to say the least.

In the streets, a man in a buisness suit and trilby hat was walking slowly down the sidewalk, looking for something. Every now and then he would stop and chat to ask questions. One fruit vendor told him about a red haired theif he had seen just over a month ago and the man smiled. He pressed the button on the side of his earpiece and said, "we have a lead."

message 310: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments ((What was the nickname again?))

Drayven almost choked on air when she said she thought that he was suicidal. He had been suicidal for years, he just didn't do it. He bit his lip, trying to calm himself down in a few seconds so she didn't worry. Oh man, he stopped feeling that way once she got here. It felt nice to have someone that cared. He just shrugged it off, "Yeah, but still, they won't actually let anyone go that knows about you and your little powers." He said. He was a lot quieter though. He didn't want anyone else to hear him if they were. He kept his arms around her, kissing her head. "We'll be okay."

message 311: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments ((Stitches. Lol. And When do you think they should be caught? In a little while? Or later on?))

Lexi shrugged and nodded. It made sense. They wouldnt want others talking about her powers. "Alright. I guess thats logical." When he said they'd be alright, her smile faltered a little, because she highly doubted it, but she nodded and whispered. "I hope you're right." She had felt him stiffen earlier, and she looked up, worried that she had said something wrong. "Hey... are you alright?" She asked softly. He looked sort of worried. Was it because of the joke she had made?

message 312: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments ((In a little while. So their relationship is a little more advanced. Maybe a few months? And if you want, we can skip to then or closer. XD))

Drayven laid down with her, pulling her on top of him so she was laying with him. "I won't let them hurt you anymore." He said kissing her head. He didn't want to answer her question if he was alright. SO he just smiled, even though he did hesitate to answer. "Yeah, I'll be just fine. I mean, I am fine." He said softly. He kissed her again and again all over her forehead to just make her smile.

message 313: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments ((Sounds good. Maybe we can play out some of the sweet stuff like right now and then skip? :) ))

For some reason, his first comment made her heart melt. "Thank you." She said softly, a little surprised when he shifted them, but liking it a lot. She could feel his heart beating against hers. "That means a lot." She said honestly, blushing when he kissed her forehead. She notedthat he hesitated in answering, and then fumbled over his words, so she assumed he didnt want to talk about it. She decided to leave it alone for a better time to ask. She giggled when he started kissing her all over, closing her eyes tight and grinning.

message 314: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments ((Sounds good to me.))

He smiled up at her, nodding, he made that promise to her and himself. She was going to be okay, and everything was going to be fine. He would make sure of it. If they were ever taken away, he would get them out, then he'd make sure they weren't found. He closed his eyes when he kissed her as well. He was getting tired though, it had been a long day. He hugged her close, "Would you be angry if I fell asleep?"

((What do you want the two of them to do? He could take her to an amusement park.))

message 315: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments ((Sure. That sounds fun :) ))

Lexi smiled at him and kissed him on the lips once, breifly, but sweetly. "No. Not at all. Its getting late." She said seriously, laying her head on his chest and sighing in contentment. "Ill probably go to sleep too." She said, her last words dissolving into a yawn as she closed her eyes and fell asleep lying there on the couch with him.

message 316: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments ((Awesome. I shall start it.))

Drayven had loaded her as well as some snacks and drinks onto the back of the bike a half an hour before. He knew that they had to be limited on time, people were hanging around the apartment and it was getting on his nerves. He drove down the long and boring road around a large hill. Soon, there was a roller coaster in his sights. He smiled softly, he didn't get lost like he thought he would. Nope! He made it to the right spot, which was awesome since gas was still hard to come by with them.

message 317: by Lara (last edited Sep 01, 2014 05:15AM) (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi had been thrilled and beyond excited all morning that she would get to go out today. She had shifted into the usual disguise when he had started packing, begging him for the hundredth time to tell her where they were going. She hopped on his bike, blissfully unaware of the people hanging around his house, and hung on tight as he started to drive. When they rounded a hill and a rollercoaster came into sight, Lexi's eyes lit up. "No. Freaking. Way." She breathed, staring in awe. "Is that where we're going? Seriously?" She asked, almost not even daring to hope.

message 318: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments Drayven laughed when she started jumping around on the bike all excited. He could hear her loud and clear as she was yelling louder than usual. He had a huge smile on his face, "Oh yeah." He said, "We're going to have a fun day!" Since they were getting so close to the home, he knew that everything was about to change, and he didn't want the government getting any of his money in order to fuel their little projects with humans. The freaks. They were terrible people, blinded by what science could do.

Soon, they reached the entrance and Drayven put his bike in one of the stalls. It was cool here, they had a nice place to put bikes, somewhere more secure than just sitting out randomly. He helped her off first, then threw himself off. He put the helmets in one of the lock boxes that he had to rent for the day, as well as the parking spot. But that was okay. As long as his baby was safe.

message 319: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi grinned and just flopped against his back, sighing happily "You are to date the best boyfriend or best friend I have ever had." She said, giggling with excitement.

Lexi got off the bike with him, following him around as he paid for a lock box and parking space. She slipped her hand into his as they headed for the front entrance, her grin never waning an inch. By the time they reached the gates, she was craning her neck to get a view of all the rides. They all looked more fun than anything she had ever done. A couple of them looked a little frightening, but she was excited to try them all.

message 320: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments Drayven was happy to have her next to him. He didn't ever usually come to fun places like this, not even when he lived with his family. They never liked bringing him along since he wanted to do other things than them that might get their shoes dirty.... That and they just plain hated him. He smiled down at her and pecked her on the forehead. "I'm honored." He said smiling and pulled her inside the gates. He got them the all day pass where they could do whatever they wanted for as long as they wanted. Well, until the park closed. But they were there early. She'd be rode out at the end of the day. He smiled at her, then he looked away, making it look like he was looking at the rides too. Today was a bitter sweet day.... He wanted her to have a nice day... a perfect day before they would come and tear them away.... Kill him probably, if not both of them. Who knew. He just knew that they couldn't run forever. He'd protect her until his last breath though. That was a promise.

message 321: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi eagerly followed him around as he got them passes and then into the park. Even getting her hand stamped was exciting. She had never done anything like this before. Ever. Yes, she had seen amusement parks before, when she was on the run, even slept outside the fence of one. But she had never been able to get inside, onto any of the rides. Actually doing this was the most thrilling thing that had ever happened before. In fact, it was so exciting, any thought of officials coming here and finding her was gone clean from her mind. Once they were in the park, she looked around at all the rides and grinned. "So... which one are we going to try first?"

message 322: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments Drayven looked over to her with a small smile, shrugging, "Anything you want. It's your day." He said. Usually husbands or boyfriends would say that on someone's wedding day. But that wasn't the case right now. He didn't know if he could get her that far. He wished he could, even if it wasn't to him. He kissed her cheek. "I like the big one." He said pointing to the one that brought people to the top in an arch, then dropped them to go on all the halfpipes and twists and turns. That one looked fun.

((Look up Wicked in Lagoon on youtube. That's the ride I'm talking about. XD You can watch what it's like to be on it. It's so fun! (Of course you don't have to. But if you'd like to you can. XD) ))

message 323: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments ((I looked it up. Sick ride! :) ))

Lexi let her eyes travel across the park to where he was pointing. The ride was huge. Probably the biggest one there. She swallowed nervously and tried to gather some courage. "Looks scary." She said honestly. "But I suppose it would be fun to try it..." She smiled a little and grabbed his hand. "Let's get on it before I change my mind." She said, starting off towards the ride, dragging Drayven in tow. Her heart was already pounding in her ears, and they hadn't even stepped on the ride yet. She swallowed hard and forced herself to say that it would be fun. Yes. Fun. Lot's of fun.

message 324: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments ((I know right?! I went on it four times in a row! It was so BA! I mean, you're sitting there, thinking it's a slow incline and will take you gradually..... I was wrong. XD))

He smiled at her when she said that she would go on it. "We can go on another one first if you want." He said with a laugh, pushing his longer hair to the side with a laugh. He was enjoying this. He went along with her though, holding her hand tightly. He stood in line with her, and since it was still early, there wasn't much of a line. There would be in a bit. He waited and showed the stamp to the person. He looked over at her, "Hold my hand the whole time. I'll protect you."

message 325: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments ((sounds sweet :) ))

Lexi's heart beat amped up as they got in line, her eyes glued on the ride. It was only like a two minute wait, but it felt like hours of heart pounding silence as they inched slowly towards the line. When they finally got in and were sitting in the seats, Lexi gulped and nodded, holding his hand tightly, or more like gripping it. "I'm counting on that." She said seriously as the attendants made sure they were buckled in. When the ride started off, she squeaked and closed her eyes tight. "I can't look!"

message 326: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments ((You still into this roleplay? I've been on and off it so much, it's alright if you're not. I was just thinking about it and thought I should probably post on it. XD

And the ride really was. o.o I was also thinking, that when they get taken, they could say that they arrested them for some BS thing, maybe Drayven's parents pop up that he ran away from? O.o And they're rich jerks.))

He squeezed her hand, leaning towards her and kissing her cheek before the ride moved, but when it jolted into a start he moved back into his seat, so he didn't get his head chopped off or whatever. "Open your eyes! This is going to be great!" He said with his little laugh, but it sounded a bit crazy at the moment. He was an adrenaline junky. He held her hand, letting him grip his hand, not thinking anything of it. She wasn't crushing his hand.

message 327: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments ((Yeah, I like this roleplay! It's been a couple months since I heard from you, so I wasn't sure if it was over or not, but I'd definitely like to continue. :)

And yeah! That sounds good. I'm good with them getting arrested whenever you're up for it, so feel free to just have them get taken whenever.))

Lexi found herself blushing when he kissed her cheek and she gained enough courage to open her eyes once more, just as the roller coasters started its ascent up the huge hill. Lexi's grin turned nervous, and her hand squeezed Drayven's tightly. "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" She shook her head, her eyes wide, and she couldn't close them again. "I cant believe you convinced me onto this!" She said, her eyes widening as they reached the top of the hill. She tried to scramble back in her seat as they curved over the top, and then she screamed as they plunged downwards.

message 328: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments ((I do, too. Sorry it takes me so long to respond all the time. I get busy when I don't respond, then I totally space on it. I'm sorry about that. :/ I do really like your roleplaying, though.

And I will, I have some ideas, since I think Drayven has an idea, if I remember right.))

Drayven smirked over at her, holding her hand back, intertwining their fingers. He laughed at her reaction, having more fun looking at her freaked out face than the actua- The ride dropped them right off the edge, not pausing for a second to prepare them. He let out a loud scream, but more like a cheer than anything. His eyes stayed open as he watched the ramps go under them, his eyes looking all around the place, finding this all fun. He looked over at her though most of the time, watching as she responded. Oh she was adorable. He squeezed her hand, grinning wildly.

message 329: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments ((No problem. I understand. I'm just glad to get replies now, as I like your roleplaying too.

And awesome! Can't wait to see his ideas. XD))

Lexi couldn't help her screams. She knew Drayven was laughing at her, but she couldn't hold back. This was terrifying. She had never been on a ride, and now here he had pulled her onto the largest one in the park. Ooooo I am going to murder you now.... Gradually her screams choked into a sort of laugh/shriek mixture, and she relaxed enough to slowly lift her arms into the air, a smile splitting her features. This isn't so bad... She thought, just as the coaster finally hit the brakes and slowed for the last stretch of track back to the loading dock. Lexi stiffened then, her face paling two shades. There were two security officers on the platform, talking to the coaster technician. They were wearing the uniforms of the park, and were clearly at ease and just on their lunch break, but Lexi saw none of this. She saw uniforms, and labs and her nightmares coming to life. A soft whimper escaped her and she seemed to shrink into her seat, trying to be swallowed into the earth to hide.

message 330: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments ((Haha, yush. XP And thank you.

I can't wait either. XD))

Drayven looked up to see the people talking to the technitians, not seeing that his girlfriend had stopped her smile or stiffened. The coaster just stopped, a lot of people were stiff from the sudden stopping. He was smiling though, his hair thrown back from his face, you could actually see his forehead and his face, nothing was in it. It was a rare sight. He was smiling, too, his guyliner showing even more now. "Whoo!" He cheered, "That was fun, right?" He looked over at her, looking at the guys that were working, they were on break.

message 331: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi forced herself to remember that currently she looked like Drayvens sister, and not like the freckled teen who's fave was plastered all over the news. She could tell now that she looked closer that the guards were on lunch and clearly at ease, not here to arrest her. She knew she had to try to calm again so as not to bring any more unwanted attention to her. So she looked over at Drayvens and nodded, willing the colour to come back to her face. "It was a lot of fun. After I got over the falling feeling." She admitted, her smile strained. As she looked at him, she slowly noticed the differences. He was carefree right now, relaxed even, and his smile was so genuine she found herself smiling back. He looked happy, and more beautiful than she had ever seen him. Her worries about the guards disappeared as the ride came to a halt. She climbed out of her seat and looped her arm through Drayvens, smiling easily. "Let's grab lunch." She suggested, elbowing him playfully. "All that screaming made me hungry."

message 332: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments Drayven was happy, something that happened in a long time, and he was glad that she could be the one to see him. He didn't even notice how screwed up his hair looked, but he did notice how messed up hers did. He laughed, reaching out after they got off the ride and fixed it up, next messing with his since it had to be a total mess as well. He nudged her back, "You were screaming pretty loud. I thought I was going to go deaf." He pulled her along to where the food was, thinking about where to take her. Though, he hadn't been here in years, he didn't know if he remembered where the good stuff was. He leaned over, pecking her forehead. "Well, what are you in the mood for?" He asked, knowing that he was about to introduce her to the life of fast food and grease.

message 333: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi felt the heat creeping into her cheeks when he reached over and fixed her hair for her, before ruffling his own. She smiled sheepishly. "Thanks." The thanks was honest, if not a little hushed as she was shy about him touching her, but not in the way that she didn't enjoy it. It was more that she was awkward about how her stomach flipped every time he did. Then her smile turned half indignant. "I wasn't screaming that much!" She tried to protest, even though she knew it was futile. She had been screaming, and there was no way she could deny that. So she was glad of the chance to change the topic instead. Her eyes scanned the crowded carnival booths, some of which were games, and others that sold sweets and food. None of it looked familiar. Except for.... Lexi's face lit up and she pointed to a hot dog and burger stand. "Could we get something from there?" She asked hopefully. She had seen other people eating hot dogs, but had never actually tried a really greasy street vendor hot dog for herself.

message 334: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments He nodded to her, rolling his eyes, “You were screaming your head off. I almost did go deaf.” he hugged her a bit, looking around and waiting for her to point something out, and when she did, he was surprised to see that it was the hotdog and hamburger stand. That was fine with him though, he smiled and nodded, “Come on then.” He said taking her into the line behind two other people, three others waiting to the side for their food. He pushed hair from his face and reached into his back pocket to pull out his wallet. He had enough, he had more than enough. He had been saving up from his part time job since he first said he loved her. It was pretty fast to take their orders, so they were up next. He ordered the number one, a normal hamburger with fries and a drink, then waited for her to order as well.

message 335: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi rolled her eyes at his comment, and then followed him through the throngs of people and up to the stand. It smelled strange here, like boiled oil, salt, and vinegar. Mixed with the sweet smell of caramel and the rather rancid smell of too many people on a hot day, Lexi found herself wrinkling up her nose. She watched people leave with different types of food, and tried to decide which looked the most appealing. The nachos that came out practically soggy with fake cheese almost made her lose her appetite. But the burgers and hotdogs looked good, and the fries looked even better. So when they finally got to the front of the line, she politely asked for the only hotdog combo that came with a large fries. As luck would have it, a drink was included. In this body, her hands were smaller and thinner than they usually were, and she found herself struggling as she tried to find the best way to juggle a hotdog, fries, and cold can of coke. But finally she managed to squeeze the wrapped dog in the crook of her arm, and use her two hands to hold the fries and drink. Then she grinned at Drayven. "Ok. So... should we sit on those benches?" She nodded her chin towards a group of picnic benches in a cleared area. Some families had already claimed a couple of them, but there was an empty one in the shade that she started towards.

message 336: by Kate Kid (new)

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments The people didn't bug him, though he did have a chain on his wallet for a reason, if someone moved it, he would hear it clang around and it would pull on him. He smiled over at Lexi, stroking her hair a bit with his free arm, though it was sort of awkward with how they were intertwining arms. Once they were up and she was ordering he was patient for her to figure out what she wanted, not surprised to see her pick the hot dog. He smiled, paying for it, and went along with her after she figured out how to hold all of the food, him doing the same thing that she did, but his was more natural than hers was, he was even having problems not chuckling at her. She was so cute. Once they were down, he leaned back against a fence that was behind them. "What do you think so far?" He asked, meaning about the park. "You hate me for taking you on that scary ride, though I'm probably going to get you on many other ones." he laughed, unwrapping his greasy hamburger, offering a bite to her.

message 337: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments ((this is probably the last post until late tonight, maybe not even so, as I am hopping on a plane back home in a few minutes here... XP))

Lexi sat beside Drayven once they got everything sorted out and picked a spot to sit. She lay her hotdog out neatly beside her, before setting up the drink and fries, making sure they would not topple over. Then she grinned. "Its cool!" She said enthusiastically. "I mean... the roller coaster was scary at first, but I'm glad I went on it. And its so nice to not worry about... well... you know all the time. Its great to just have fun." She admitted, shrugging. She grabbed one fry and ate it in one bite, savouring the salty taste. She decided she loved fries, right then and there. Then she put on a face of mock anger and elbowed him. "Drayven! Don't you dare." She said in response to his comment about forcing her onto a ton more rides. She grinned, though, to let him know that it was fine, and she was having fun. She took a small bite out of his hamburger and closed her eyes, trying to decide what it tasted like. "Well... I was not expecting it to taste like that..." she said honestly. "But it's good." She shrugged, picking up her hotdog. She peeled back the foil it was wrapped in, and took a bite. Her smile was huge. "I officially like junk food." Her smile nearly reached her ears.

A normal day." He said reaching over and touching her hair softly. "We're going to have a hell of a lot of fun today." he smirked and started eating as well. "I'm going to do what I want. And that's taking you on rides." He said motioning to a lot of them with his pointer finger. He was going to have so much fun with her. He leaned back a bit, laughing with her as she liked the junk food. "That's good. Though we need to eat healthy more. Then we can survive." He winked. He did like junk food, but he liked fruits and veggies more.

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi smiled softly, leaning into his touch a little. She nodded in agreement. It would be better not to think about any of it. Yes, the ever present fear was still there, but if she put her trust in Drayven and hoped for the best, she could almost forget about the people who hunted her. At his second comment though, she found it easy to loosen up and relax a bit. She rolled her eyes, shaking her head. She knew he would do whatever she wished, but she was up for following him. "Alright alright." She gave in. "They should be fun. If they aren't any more scary than the last one..." She smiled over at him. She was already halfway through the hotdog and almost all done the fries. "Yeah. I suppose. Wouldn't want to turn into a fry. But they sure are good!" She finished the hotdog and licked her lips, before finishing off the fries. "And I think I'm almost ready to start walking around again." she said, shifting her position a little to get more comfortable. Her seat wasn't exactly soft.

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments He was finishing off his food right before she did, him being a quick eater, though he still got the chance to taste everything. That's what food was for. It wasn't just to scarf down and not enjoy any of it, that's why people had favorite food. Which is why his was carrots, they were the things he enjoyed the most. He put his arm around her when she was finishing up, it resting on the back of the bench. "They will be fun, I can't wait to go on all of them. Might as well take advantage of everything here, right?" He asked looking over at her. "I'll even try and win you a stuffed animal." He grinned. He was going to make this the best date ever.... Because he knew that they were going to be there in the next few days. They were running out of time. He was glad that he was good at hiding his worries, because if he wasn't he would be wrecked with them. "They are. I'll bring you to one of these again." He said, hoping that was true. He reached over and stroked her cheek softly. He leaned in and put his lips to her ear, "I love you." He whispered, kissing her cheek again.

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi was well aware of their waning time, but she chose to ignore it, at least in this moment. She nodded, her smile bright. "Exactly. We paid to get in here, so it makes sense to do everything." She agreed, wiping the salt off her hands and onto the grass. She put all of her garbage into the fries container and patted her stomach in satisfaction. "I think we should wait a bit to go on any rides though... Not sure how well the food will stay down on any roller-coasters right away." She grimaced, rubbing her stomach. "But I'd love a stuffed animal." She said honestly, turning to smile at him. Her eyes fluttered closed then when he touched her cheek. A thrilled chill ran down her spine at his whisper, and she found herself leaning into him. "I know." She whispered, turning so she was facing him and looking right into his eyes. "I love you too." then she leaned in and gently pressed her lips against his. It was a hesitant kiss, as she was not one with kissing experience. But it was full of emotion and meaning, showing her shy hesitance, and her longing. A longing to be with him, without worry of anyone chasing them, without worry at all. But most of all, it spoke of her love for him.

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments He nodded to her, "Then we'll go and get you a stuffed animal." He promised with a smile, not wanting her to go home without one. It didn't matter how much he spent to get it, he knew that money wasn't going to matter in the next few days. He closed his eyes and kissed her, his lips being a bit more skilled than hers. He knew how to kiss, but he wasn't forcing it. He kissed her softly and lovingly, his hand going up and holding onto the back of her neck, though she could pull away at any moment if she wanted. He pulled back, feeling the love that she was putting into the shy, hesitant kiss. He pulled back after a bit, "You're amazing." he said and kissed her forehead. He stood up, taking her hands and pulling her up.

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi thoroughly enjoyed the feel of his lips on hers, and his hand holding her against him. She both liked and needed the support. She loved the way he kissed. It was not demanding, but sweet in a way that didn't make her feel bad about being inexperienced. When he pulled away, she was left with butterflies in her stomach and a glow on her cheeks. She smiled, "thank you." She said, standing when he helped pull her up. She looped her arm through his and grinned at him. "Let's go get that stuffed animal!" She said brightly. The agents after her we're all but forgotten now, and she was excited to go win a stuffed animal. The kiss had helped boost her spirits as well.

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments Drayven laughed, knowing he was going to be able to get it in the shooting games, wondering if he should play that one or anything else. "Choose a game, then pick out an animal and I'll get it for you." He said pulling her close with their linked arms and kissing her head again. She was adorable, all excited like she was. And he could tell she was on cloud nine because of his kisses, and that wasn't him being cocky that time! He turned his head away from her, making sure he wasn't going to ram into anyone. He didn't want to spill anything, make them drop something, or just be a nuisance.

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi grinned, loving that he offered any animal she wished. Her eyes were wide and bright as she took in all the different choices. There were spotted monkeys, and neon snakes, fluffy animals, and beanbag ones. "Oh man... there's so many to choose from!" She made sure to look at each animal they passed so she knew her options. And then her eyes fell on game at the end of their row. From it hung the largest, fluffiest teddy she had ever seen. It was a nice shade of caramel and had a huge satin ribbon around its neck. Lexi giggled and pointed, bouncing on the balls of her feet in excitement. "Ooo! That one!" She jogged over to the game and looked up at it. The man standing behind the booth smiled down at her, as he knew the game was one of the hardest. "Steeeep right up! You only have to knock that target over to win the biiiiig prize!" He said cheerily. "You get three shots."
Lexi's smile fell. The target was tiny, and it moved. "Oh. Maybe we should go try for a different one?" She asked, looking over at Drayven.

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments "There's different ones at every station." he said with a small smile as he looked around, noticing that her eyes light up, his eyes following hers. Of course the biggest one here. Already, his mind was fishing for the ideas of how to get that on the bike. He knew how though, so he wasn't worried. He had brought a strap to get things to stay on the bike with them. He would probably have to wrap it on her though, so it would look as if the bear was holding onto her.... It would be such a cute picture. Did I just think cute? What is wrong with me? He thought as he walked up to it.

He noticed what game it was, "So, if I get all three shots and hit the target,I can have the bear?" he asked pointing to it, full of confidence.

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi raised an eyebrow, watching him. Did he think he could win? She didn't think anyone could win this game, it looked rigged. But she stayed quiet, really hoping to get that fluffy teddybear. She figured that if she was likely going to be caught and locked away the rest of her life, she might as well enjoy the moments she had. She knew it was selfish thinking like that, but she couldn't help it. So she just watched as the man smiled, nodding. "That's right kid. Just hit the target and you can have the bear." he said, smiling wryly. "You get three balls for five bucks." He held out a shooter and three ping pong balls, holding out his other hand for the bill, a smug smile on his face.
Lexi sighed softly to herself. It was plain to see that the man thought Drayven couldn't do it.

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments Drayven looked at the balls and pursed his lips. He looked over at the kid, watching as he tried to get the target as well on his own station. He watched as the balls arched and shrugged. "Why not?" He handed him the money and took the gun, along with the balls. He loaded them up, cocking the thing and pointed a little upwards, since they were rather light balls. He shot them all, all three balls going to the target, hitting them dead on. He smiled, hanging his head a bit in victory, but it popped up cockily. "Bear please?" He asked, a huge smile on his face.

Lara (gurlwhowrites) | 8327 comments Lexi watched, tense with anticipation as the money was exchanged and the gun and three balls handed over. She stepped back to give Drayven some room, hoping he could really do it. She was still sure this game was rigged. The boy already playing was not faring too well. His exasperated father had already payed for three games. Lexi chewed her lip, watching as Drayven stepped up and loaded his three shots. She didn't breathe until he had shot all three balls in quick succession, each one hitting dead on. She let out an excited giggle and through her arms around him, kissing his cheek. "You didn't tell me you were a good shot." She whispered, running over to the man who was grumbling as he pulled down the bear. Lexi could barely wrap her arms around the fluffy mass, but she was clinging to it in pure joy, laughing. She tipped her head back at Drayven and grinned. "So where are we going to put this?" She asked, her black hair falling over her face.

Kate Kid (katekid) | 7912 comments He smirked at her, taking the bear from the guy and then hanging it to his girl. He smiled down at her, barely able to see her from the fluff. "I have no idea. We don't have a car. We have a bike." He said with a laugh. He reached over and pushed her hair from her face. "We will probably end up putting it in the living room." he said with a shrug, "It'll be your little friend that you can cuddle with while I'm at work." he said with a smirk. "Though I better be the one you cuddle with when I'm home." He winked and started to bring her with him. "Want me to hold it?"
