Amber Foxx (amberfoxx) | 118 comments I initially listed the book by its Amazon ISN since the Kindle edition is more likely to sell than the paperback. However, to do a give-away, I have to use the paperback,so I put in the ISBN: 978-1496078438. I didn't change the number used in identifying my book, though. I got a message that four fields were incorrect in my giveaway, but I did not leave any empty. It said "book cannot be blank". Is this because I do not know how to get my ISBN in the system without deleting the ISN? This is my first giveaway. Or will be, if I ever get it right.

Other question: do I have to add the links to Barnes and Noble, Kobo, etc. myself? Or does a librarian do that as the book goes live on the slower-to-publish e-bookstores(Kobo, i-Tunes)?

Monique (kadiya) | 1097 comments Amber,

To set this up, we need to add a new edition of your book, a paperback edition. Assuming that the majority of the information is the same as the Kindle edition, I can start that now.

ETA: It looks like several of us started working on this. A paperback edition has been set up and the original edition has been cleaned up. You should be ok to go for your giveaway with the paperback edition.

Amber Foxx (amberfoxx) | 118 comments All information for paperback is the same except the price, of course. Costs a heck of a lot more. Author, description, no changes there. Thanks.

Plethora (bookworm_r) | 359 comments Amber - Purchase links are user specific, so nothing for anyone to set.

Once you have your additional ebook (non-Kindle) edition that can be added as well, it will have a different ISBN number form the Paperback and the Kindle ASIN.

I think the Goodreads librarians are amazing. Thank you for what you do.

Ren | 688 comments I just checked and the purchase links work for this book. If you mean that some of them don't show up, that's because users pick the booksellers that they want to see, there's no way to force users to see the same list of booksellers for a specific book.
