George | 16 comments Where do I find the list? I have the book, but I am confused by people talking about the old and new list. Help anyone?

Lyn (Readinghearts) (lsmeadows) There is a link to the a website which has a spreadsheet with both the 2006 or "old" list and the 2008 or "new" list. The link can be found in the 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die folder for this group in the "Help with the old list" topic. I think it is other places, too, but that is where I found it. BTW, you will want version 3 of the spreadsheet.

Kristin This "list" was published as a book in 2006, and a new edition (with a different list) was published in 2008. The new list can be found at the following website: http://1001beforeyoudie.com/

Emily (emmers82) | 2 comments On the new list at 1001, is there a way to check off books you've read? The spreadsheet is a tad overwhelming...

There's also this list website (for the 2008 version):
http://www.listsofbests.com/list/57568

And here's a link to the 2006 list:

P. (shimizusan) | 96 comments bumping the topic up... because the website doesn't work anymore, and the only way to get your hands on the new list is through the pdf file that i can't find anymore :(. Someone did post it though... somewhere.

Kristin I have an excel spreadsheet that I made for myself with both the '06 and '08 lists, plus the 2 lists combined. Send me a message through my profile with your e-mail address if you are interested - I can send it to you. Just let me know if you want it in Excel's 2007 edition, or 97-03.

P. (shimizusan) | 96 comments thanks for replying kristin, I have already got a spreadsheet, it might even be yours. If it is, may i just add that it is an excellent layout too :) Very helpful and it helps me navigate through the list with ease.

I just thought it might be beneficial to have that spreadsheet in a place where newcomers can easily access it. The first time i came here I was like 'what list? where is it?' After a bit of digging i finally got it though!

it would be great if you had a link to the list available for everybody. just my 2 cents :)

Arukiyomi | 271 comments Hi Zee... here's a link where you can get Arukiyomi's spreadsheet for the 2008 list and the books removed from that edition that were included in 2006.

v4 with the new books added/removed to/from the 2010 edition will be released as soon after the 23rd of March as possible
