yeah, in my experience people who have to deal with the worst of the drug life build up walls. walls with windows, they can be open for sensitivity, but the walls are incredibly tough and hard to breach. they can be breached though, you can make a door to let certain people in. it just takes a while. youll get there though, i have faith in ya

I need to find a happy medium. That's why my adolescent clients are my favorites, b/c they r still young enough to stand a fighting chancw, you know? That & the fact I'm mentally their age doesn't hurt either, lol

This question is going to sound snobby, but I know I can ask you two. Do u think intelligent people have it harder? Not saying I'm super intelligent or anything, but I just wonder if being slightly dumb makes life a little more carefree?

yes i do, there are lots of links to higher intelligence and depression and anxiety and a whole other handful of neuroses. also a lot of links to drug use and alcohol dependency. i cant say im more intelligent then the average guy i guess, but i certainly have to deal with a bunch of those particular neuroses.

Sometimes I think so. People with good ideas are questioned and put down the most often, in my experience at least. Not that I'm really smart myself, but I just know people that have been.

lol, no modesty really. i dont think im all that smart, but i do suffer from the problems i mentioned, all but the alcohol i suppose. so if the question was do i have it harder? perhaps i do, perhaps i dont. i know the majority of the population suffers the same problems i do, so i dont necessarily think i have it rougher. i dont know really, there might be a real link and there might not be, but im certainly not going to say that all the problems i have are fed by any intelligence influence, so i will just go back to quoting the studies ive read, lol.

ah im just nuts and always looking into why, lol, all i have under my belt is a high school diploma. also im not great at taking compliments, lol, thanks very much ash, i certainly feel i am in like minded company when it comes to intelligence :) a lot actually, not just intelligence, but its on the list.

Education/Degrees have absolutely NOTHING to do w/intelligence, u know that. And learning how to take a compliment is hard, still struggle w/it myself but someone told me just to say thank you & forget about it. Try it, the more u do it, the easier it becomes, even if sometimes u might not believe the compliment. And I also still love to read about possible mental illness, what have u that may be the reason I am the way I am sometimes. But aren't all of us looking for a reason for SOMETHING? Why wouldn't u be? Because if this is it,we are all screwed.

I had a feeling she might be, she is a great character. On Bleach, Rangiku is my favorite. But I love Youirichi too. Kiskue has always been my favorite male charater. I also love Shunsui & his perverted, lazy self. Actually they r both kind of like that but also two of the biggest bad asses on the show, but their personalities don't show it
