She purchased more provisions and packed everything up, taking Toby's hand. "Come on, let's go."
Aevin heard a little boy's voice saying, "...cursed by orcs!" Her ears perked up slightly and she decided to follow them to their next destination.
Lilax, AKA, Arc, sat down for a drink, still completely confused about what was going on. Her head hurt because she kept on switching to an overconfident happy person completely outgoing.
Lilax sank into her chair, eyelids lowering halfway. Oh no... the other one was... oops...
Arc shot up, as if she'd just had 15 ccs of adrenaline shot into her spine. She buried her face in her food, then got up, running from table to table to examine the contents of each, careless about whose face she got into.
Arc shot up, as if she'd just had 15 ccs of adrenaline shot into her spine. She buried her face in her food, then got up, running from table to table to examine the contents of each, careless about whose face she got into.
She approached, at a ninety degree angle to him, and her hand slid for a bit of chicken on his plate, like she was sure she was invisible.
Victor grabbed her hand out of the air quickly. He was not going to let this girl distract him from finding his next employer. He had a wife to feed after all.
She blinked, in shock, like she'd just realized she was corporeal. Her other hand darted forwards, trying to seize the food!
HE grabbed her other hand with his other hand. His face showing he didn't want to be toyed with.
The look of childish bewilderment on Arc's face was priceless. She wiggled her fingers, barely grazing the side of the plate. "You're cheating," she whined.
She frowned, staring at him in bewilderment. "Do I still get your food? I don't care," she smirked, shrugging slightly, "This isn't my body anyways."
"Paid? Can I pay for it?" she asked, like it was a completely new concept. "I ran out of mine. How do I get more?" She reached her head over, slowly opening her mouth.
Victor sighed. He pushed her off the table and went back to eating his food. This girl was not worth the effort.
"I bought it, with money," he said before stuffing the rest of his food in his mouth. No way she could take it from him now.
She stared at his mouth, like he was evil, then her head dipped. "Ow!" Lilax rubbed at her wrists, wrinkling her nose. "What the heck was she doing with me just now?!" she hissed.
She stood up, seemingly having no recollection. "Um... This may sound strange, but was I doing anything..." she flinched. "Horribly embarrassing and insane?"
She cursed. "Oh my gosh, I'm sorry. I don't know what's happening in my head lately. Can I make it up to you?"
Victor waved her off and sat back down, he went back to seeing if his next job had arrived, he heard he was on the fence about this, and might back out.
