FIn felt like he was letting his instincts run rampant for once but this was a much needed release that he did not want to end.

Ara pulled away panting and flopped onto her back. "I don't even know your real name!" she told him frustrated with herself and got up out of the bed and started to pace, her shirt flapping around her body as she walked, having come even more unbuttoned when they were kissing.
"Oh that is easy to solve, Finrod Nólatári" he said with a smile at her being frustrated over that small detail. "I doubt your whole name is Ara" he said with a slight chuckle at her pacing.
"It's just Aracala" she told him sitting down in the middle of the floor trying to ground herself. 'I can't believe I did that' she mentally scolded herself.
"Nice name to go with the woman" he said with a smile. "thank you for that" he said concerning the feeling and the kissing.
"It is up to you Ara though I would gladly go along with repeating that" he said liking the feeling a lot.
"For what?" Ara asked him standing up angrily. "I'm not going to be another one of your girls that you just leave behind" she told him, her tone slightly angry as she stood up again. She was getting angry that he was just laying there, like he was expecting her to lay back down. She started to button her shirt again, but missed one and had to start all over.
"You seriously thing I chose for the loner life?" he asked with a sigh and got up to go out the window again.
"You are choosing it right now." she told him quietly, her face falling as she watched him go to leave.
"I tried being nice after I said what my name was but you still think I was clouding your thoughts" he said sitting on the sill and staring at the ceiling.
"You can't promise me that I won't be left though, and I don't want to be heart broken again. I can't take being heartbroken again Fin" she told him.
"I really don't know if we are destined to be together but I am sure we have a special bond though" he said not really sure about that little detail.
"I still am willing to lay in the same bed dear" he said with a slight smile as he gave her his hands.
"Not now, not like that" she shook her head and pulled him up. "You are going to teach me magic, and we will see if anything else develops." she told him as she looked up at him wanting him to understand.
"I meant sleep Ara not the other function but sure I suppose we can work on presence" he said sitting cross legged on the floor and waving for her to do the same.
She sat crossed legged in front of him wondering what he was talking about when he meant presence. She wanted to ask, but she didn't trust her voice at the moment.
"Ok well this is mostly to ward enemies away from disobeying you so just think like you want to intimidate or impress" he said letting his magic power shine out. Soon he glowed with shimmering green light and smiled.
Ara reached out and touched his cheek. "You realize that I haven't even gotten the energy transference down right?" she asked him trying to get his attention.
"You can't repeat that too much in one day or you will just slip into a slumber" he said with a serious tone as he learned that fact the hard way.
"Oh, okay. I don't know how to look intimidating" she told him truthfully. She hadn't ever had to, she had always been soft curves and a pretty face.
"Then focus on being entrancing and use it to your advantage" he said with a smile as he somehow read her thoughts without much effort.
Ara smiled knowing she would be able to do that one and within seconds she was surrounded by a deep blue aura. "So, want to make me breakfast?" she asked testing it out.
"I was planning on that but you do look ravishing with the sea around you" he said staring for a moment just to take in the details.
"Do I really?" she asked glancing over at the mirror and just seeing herself as she normally saw herself, plane and uninteresting.
"It is not something a mirror shows easily Ara only another magic user can see it properly" he said with a smile and slight laugh.
"So does that mean I can't persuade humans and anyone that doesn't use magic?" she asked him glancing at his green color. She wasn't intimidated by it in the least bit, and she couldn't figure out why, by all rights, he was a dangerous man, maybe it was becuase she kept thinking about the way he kissed her.
"Well they already see you as elven so no need to add any layer to what already would persuade them" he said sure she could dupe a few men easily.
"But I can't persuade you into anything because you are so much stronger than I am" she was a little frustrated by the fact that she was so weak. If just one of her teachers had stuck around she wouldn't be so weak.
"Not weak dear just not trained, potential that hasn't been tapped" he said as he peered into her eyes and sensed she had about the same potential he had at her age.
"I had more then one trainer so I know more then just Nature domain magic" he said with a deeper breath peered farther into her well of magic and measured it against his own.
"i don't know if I like that you can read my mind" she tried not to think of him kissing her, but then of course by trying not to think about it she was thinking about it.
"Not reading you mind just peering through your magic pool which reacts to emotions" he said seeing a shift toward a excited or happy emotion.
"Yes well an odd magic I learned from one of my teachers" he said as he had a knack for reading others as a kid so the teacher tried his talent at it.
"So then why do you think you can do it?" she asked him wrapping her arms around her legs and pulling them to her chest, so she could rest her chin on her knees.
"I read others before I could talk to them" he said with a slight grin. May be why I was such a good officer he thought curiously.
Ara found that interesting, she sighed and laid back on the floor. "This magic stuff is hard" she told him
"We all have the potential just more have bigger feast they can attain, which I see you will accomplish" he said with a blink stopping that spell.
"You have a lot more faith in me than I do" she sighed and rubbed her face not realizing she was still glowing blue.
"You should turn off the aura and I can see your magic well so yes I have faith" he said with confidence.
"Oh, sorry" she told him and it slowly faded away. "So what's for breakfast oh master chef" she asked teasingly
