"A hatchling," she admitted. She wasn't sure why she was telling him this. Then again, she hadn't told anyone it, mainly because everything ran away in fear rather than face her and ask about wings, if they even noticed the absence of them.
"Ah, that brings me some relief. I am glad to know their are still so few things this large," he rumbled, causing crates in the ground as he moved his feet slightly.
"Are you calling me smaller than you, only because I have no wings?" she snapped, going instantly on the offense. Maybe aggressiveness was dragony flirting? Who knew.
She let out a dragony laugh, because by now, they were being too ridiculous for their ages... Well, she didn't know their ages. She didn't mind the seasons closely.
Elundar chuckled a bit as well. "Does it really much matter who is bigger? We could both easily crush mountains," he laughed.
"Well, I could crush a bigger mountain," she teased, voice light. "Or we could crush mountains together."
Elundar nodded. "Though we seem to have already crushed in this area, "he said, looking down at small crevasses in the ground from them getting up and close at each other in their fight.
It was more of a debate, but they still wrecked everything. "So," she said, "I know of a really horrible mountain that needs a makeover."
She did so, tail waving in the air. She had a friend/date/whatever after 17,000 years alone! Wahoo!
How had they never met, I mean, being mountainous and hiding!? She walked right next to him, only a head ahead.
