Dany cocked her head to one side, causing her white-blonde hair to ripple down her back. "Mhmmn... Close. Of some sorts, yes. But what am I? What is my job? Let's see if either of you are clever enough."
"Darn, and I even thought that was good," he said, with a quirky smile. "You kill for him, don't we all?"
"Yes, we all. I'm an assassin of some sort. He sends me out to kill specific people that might pose as threat. Important people. Yeah, then and now, I will kill people randomly... But you know." She shrugged.

"So, Dany, have you ever thought about seeing a psychiatrist?" The serial killer thing might kind of be a no go...
"I am second in command of one of his regiments, though it is a position I cannot hold at all times." Dany looked at Jason. "Sorry? A what?"
"Oh, no one. Just a guy who has long talks about your childhood and the like to make you feel better about yourself. I guess this world doesn't have them, though. So, if we're sprouting ranks randomly, I'm head of the magicians."

"I do not speak to anyone about my past, and I am fine with my self-esteem, thank you very much," Dany replied, her eyes narrowing. She tugged a bit at the hem of her Shaed and it stopped trying to wrap itself around her to hide her with shadow.
That was something he could work with; good wingman Jack the Ripper. Oh, boy, he hoped that guy wasn't the real Jack the Ripper. "Oh yes, I have very much so lost my senses in your presence."

"It's good to have someone close that you can trust things to, though," Jason said with a little shrug, "Healthy, even." Jeez, he realized that he was really laying it on thick. Back up, buddy, he told himself.

She rolled her eyes and gave an exasperated sigh. "All lives end. All hearts are broken. Caring is not an advantage. Besides, you wouldn't want me as a friend."
"Might as well enjoy the ride while we have it, life, you know. If you don't put any ups into the path you walk, how are you expected to wade through the downs? Besides, I care anyway, and besides, so long as people don't stab me, they can be my friend."
Dany looked at him with an odd mixture of iciness and bewilderment before shaking her head. "Not me. Believe me. I'm not an ideal friend." She looked at Jack. "Try an Orc," she said.

Dany looked at Jason for a minute, her eyes lingering in his face before she turned towards Jack, grinning.

Jack smiled before his sword was drawn and sliced the orc into bits. He froze with his blade finishing its paths, drenched in blood. THe goblin then slid apart like a jigsaw puzzle. He cleaned his blade on the orcs clothes and sheathed it with a quick turn back to the two.

((Sorry!))
Jason sighed. "Jeez, an orc can't have an opinion," he teased, floating up the decapitated head behind Jack's head.

"Not when his is disrespectful" he said having the shadow form a up behind him and swallow the shadow and crush it into paste. the shadow went back down and the remains fell to the ground.
"Hmm. Shadow manipulation, Jack? Is that your ability?" Daenerys watched the shadow practically swallow the corpse.
((sorry!))
((sorry!))
((Not at all, which charrie? Ask the other guy as well.))
"Ah. Sucks, though, not leaving the body intact for whatever funeral-" the orcs set at the dead body. "Okay, that's just gross."

"They burn them which smells vile" Jack said looking to the mess and willing the darkness to take it all to hell. "That is difficult to explain but no its more then that" he said with a shake of his head.
"Ah," Dany nodded. "How... Strange." Her Shaed wrapped itself around her legs. She pried it off, irritated.

((sorry!))
Dany twisted her finger around her Shaed to stop it from moving so much out of its free will. "They wonder about my cloak," she murmured, but more to herself than to anyone else.
