Having just finished all the Lindholm stories, I'm really curious how the Hobb stories will be. There is a clear difference in the writing so far, and what I've read over the past 2 years in her Elderling books.

I have to admit that i am not as much a fan of her Lindholm writing than the Hobb writing though. There is something really 'fantastical' and slightly crazy about Lindholm's plotlines that i like, but i'm missing really the subtlety and the quietness she has as Robin Hobb.

David Sven (gorro) | 567 comments I like the Hobb stories better - they are more like what we are used to from her bigger books.

i do wonder how she makes that switch. from her prologue it really looked like she consciously catalogues writing as lindholm or hobb. the style definitely sounds different as well. must be quite the challenge!
