These titles need sorting out!

This is about the books listed here, several of which seem to be duplicates:

The proper title for this book is
'I dared to call him Father' by Bilquis Sheikh with Richard H Schneider. He doesn't always have the 'H' but some of the entries incorrectly have Schneider listed before Sheikh, who is definitely the author.

The version I have added to my list (see topic above) needs the words Bilquis Sheikh removing from the title and the 1980 cover adding (see above)

Suggest that the Sheikh/Schneider versions are merged or at least one copy for each edition if that's possible.

The book by Sheikh and Williams is I think different: two books in one. There is also a different version with a Study Guide and one that appears to be a translation.

Hope this isn't too confusing - there are so many listings and the page is rather a mess.

all the errant editions have been combined under the correct authors' names with Sheikh first. also, i have merged many duplicates. a version with the cover you linked to on amazon is already here on goodreads:

although the info for it isn't particularly detailed. if you have a copy, could you let me know what binding it has, the publisher, the publication date, page number, and most importantly the ISBN ?

My apologies, but the version you gave me a link to didn't appear when I searched. It is still not showing up in the little row of alternative versions to choose from, but is if I click through on 'All editions'.

I will hunt down my copy and let you have details in due course - not sure where exactly it is (lots of books here!)

the little row of alternate versions only shows the top 5 other editions. if there are more than 6 editions total, then you have to go to the 'all editions' page.

whenever you hunt down your copy, start a new thread with all the info to update. just to make sure it gets seen by all the librarians.
