Another fun filled fantastic section. My favorite part is the clues that our favorite pirate may have a royal past--something that I am sure will blow up later.

Also, we get our first ship to ship naval battle in this section which is awesome.

I love how just when we think we have a character figured out. BOOM we are proved wrong. It happened several times for me

Amen. Also, the fact that the vampire apprentice is currently dancing circles around the pirate lord is completely refreshing!

The ship to ship combat was awesome, especially in how Evendur used the ocean and weather to assault the Thayans. I managed to "accidentally" read through chapter 7 (must gave missed the start of the chapter! Too engrossed in the book...), so I'm afraid to say more. But so far it's been a blast...and with great character development too!
