At least she wasn't speaking in a cockney accent, like she does in my BF's dreams. That would just be weird.

Good thing it wasn't wearing a striped hat, that would have been wierd."
As if the cat wearing a yellow and aqua knitted jumper wasn't weird enough... LOL!

What colour is the striped hat?

I tried posting a pic, but the html code didn't work for me :(
I joined a line for something. The last girl in line knew me but was ignoring me. There was some type of altercation on a nearby tennis court (too far away to see) and a man over a loudspeaker said they were looking for Monica Lewes but I knew he meant Monica Seles. She had attacked someone on the tennis court.
[here my brain is combining Monica Lewinsky and Monica Seles.]

That's Bill Clinton's dream, not yours.

So the night of the winds, I had a dream that the house in behind us caught fire, as did one of the huge pines in their back yard. I was torn when I alerted the firefighters--should they use the hoses on the house or on the now pillar-of-flames pine? They had to choose which to take care of first, and I wanted to advise them well. Luckily there weren't any people in the house, so I was thinking the tree might impact several houses. I woke up feeling very anxious.

Very long anxiety dream last night. I was waiting at a bus stop in Maryland for the bus that would take me to my job. With me also waiting were several people from my job. A bus pulled up whose route number started with N, but I guess I wasn't paying attention, because when I turned around my colleagues had gotten on the bus and I hadn't and it had pulled away down the street. So my anxiety starts to increase. I look in my bag and realize I don't even have my wallet with me, so I run home which is just a couple blocks away. My mother is there. I guess I get my wallet. I go back to the bus stop and wait forever, like, hours, for another N bus. Finally one comes and I get on but after a few minutes I realize we're going in the wrong direction, away from my job. I have a conversation with the bus driver and he says, yeah, you need to be going in the opposite direction! So I get off and start walking, looking for a bus stop. The sidewalk is filled with adults and children walking to some kind of march, so I step out into the street to walk, but men on horseback are racing towards me so I step back onto the sidewalk. I think maybe I should call the office to tell them I'm going to be really, really late, but I can't remember the number. I look at the list of contacts in my phone but it's huge, the size of a city phonebook, and I can't find the right number. Finally I remember the number and call and they do not sound happy to hear from me, and my phone battery is dying so I have to speak in an extremely accelerated manner.
Fortunately this awful dream eventually ends and the next dream is that I'm on the grounds of a temple that Frank Lloyd Wright built. We see what looks like my elderly aunt walking across the lawn towards us, very tall and thin, wearing a short dress. But when she gets closer we realize it's my brother's 2-year old daughter, who has been living apart from them for some reason. Her name is something weird like Rosanglinn.

We had just arrived at the first tee box and two men approached and demanded that they play through. A couple of holes later, they were looking for their lost golf balls in the bushes. We laughed heartily at them.
I realized I had the cupcakes in a bag, sitting on top of each other, so I rushed to the arena and laid them all out on baking sheets.
I had another dream about Starbucks coffee. This is becoming a trend, apparently.
I had ordered a grande coffee and was waiting for it, but realized another customer had walked out with my coffee. There was a woman sitting near the entrance drinking coffee from a plain styrofoam cup. I tried to take her cup from her. She resisted. I explained, "Someone walked away with my coffee." I ended up not taking her coffee from her. I walked to the counter and asked if they could replace my coffee since someone had taken it. There was a young kangaroo nearby with its owner. The store manager was a middle aged white woman with blondish hair. She was noncommital; I couldn't really tell if she was going to give me another coffee, or not.

That's always a good course of action.

I totally did. After seeing that pic in the fingernail thread, of course. And thinking it would make a fantastic automotive paint.

Also, I was receiving unsolicited legal advice from my brother-in-law. I was on vacation and I wanted him to go away, or simply bring me a better phone to read e-mail and THEN go away.

:) You made my day with this news. I hope this means you love that color as much as I do.
I was in the private quarters of the White House with a small group of people I knew. There were various types of fancy chocolates and snacks in the fridge and on the counter. It was getting late and Michelle Obama told us we needed to be quiet. I heard some people laughing raucously and then Barack yelling that people needed to shut up, or leave. The social secretary was sending out thank you notes which were two-inch high black corduroy flowerpots, with a chocolate treat in each one. I went back to the fridge and picked a chocolate shaped like a hot red pepper off a hot pepper plant.
Later I was trying to find and eat a meal but instead was tearing off pieces of the pages of a book and eating them. I stopped eating the page numbers, so at least readers who came after me would know what page they were on.

I was attending a movie showing in a large, old theater. Tom Cruise was there. He was short. His date was a younger girl, a little homely with a largeish nose. My date and I were supposed to sit with them. I gave the tickettaker $20 and he gave me $5 back. I said, "The movie costs $15?" It seemed like a lot. I got separated from Tom and my party so I sat by myself. A group of blind, handicapped, and maimed restaurant workers were led onto the stage; we all applauded. They had been hired by the restaurants as part of a program to employ the blind and handicapped.
