What does your widget say?
1 book behind schedule. Oddly, I'm catching up during the exam period, so my lag that I thought I'd have at the beginning of summer isn't near as mad as I expected.
Can't wait to just spend days reading.

Yeah, I've thought of going by little increases. 40 sounds like a good number.
76% (76 of 100 books)
31% ahead of schedule
I'm amazed at how much this group had inspired me to get back into reading voraciously. It's like I'm a kid again!

54%
11 books ahead of schedule
I've read 6 novellas (200 pages or less)lately though and I'm now reading some chunksters to make up for that, so I think it's bye bye to being ahead ;)

50%
8 books ahead of schedule :) :)
But now I am starting on my chunksters for this year.. so hoping for the best... :)

I hate it when that happens!

That's fantastic progress!

Congrats. Keep up the good work and try to stay on the high ground from here on out.

Thanks. That's my plan!

Well, the audio division has given me pause. (Pun intended). My widget says I've finished 86 of 100 books and am 38 books ahead. However, about 60 of those books were audio. (Last year, my audio reads made up about half of my year.)
I still consider myself ahead of a good reading year. I can generally eyeball about 3 books a month on average in a good year, and I've managed 4, before the reading of summer has really gotten underway.
Without the audio, I would never have set my goal at 100 books. Audio has more than doubled my reading. It's no wonder I feel as though I'm swimming in words this year.

Well done to all ahead of schedule, and those on track too! (:

All time low!!

I hope you're right Sandy!

It does seem a little bit arbitrary, doesn't it? I was 2 books ahead a couple days ago, and I just finished a book yesterday, so you'd think I'm at least 2 books ahead still, but no... only 1! Clearly my widget doesn't know how to count...

I really wish you could see how far or ahead you were on the iPhone app. All I have is how many books I've read.
