What does your widget say?
1 book behind schedule. Oddly, I'm catching up during the exam period, so my lag that I thought I'd have at the beginning of summer isn't near as mad as I expected.
Can't wait to just spend days reading.

26 out of 36. 10 books ahead of schedule. I would try to go for 52 books, but I feel like I'll be busier on the second half of the year.
20 books ahead:))) I'm 3 books short of completing my goal of 40 books...though I'm thinking of extending the total no of books:)
8 books ahead of schedule, which isn't bad I suppose considering I upped my goal to 80. My ultimate goal would be 100 but I don't know that I will be able to make that. I'll reassess in August/September to see where I'm sitting then. Hopefully this will be a summer of lots of reading!
Holly wrote: "Gavin, it's nice for some :P You could always put it up to like 40?"Yeah, I've thought of going by little increases. 40 sounds like a good number.
76% (76 of 100 books)
31% ahead of schedule
I'm amazed at how much this group had inspired me to get back into reading voraciously. It's like I'm a kid again!

You have read 67 of 125 books54%
11 books ahead of schedule
I've read 6 novellas (200 pages or less)lately though and I'm now reading some chunksters to make up for that, so I think it's bye bye to being ahead ;)
You have read 80 out of 160 books50%
8 books ahead of schedule :) :)
But now I am starting on my chunksters for this year.. so hoping for the best... :)
14 books ahead of schedule!! This will help for those months when I can only get a couple books read. I am hoping to read as many as possible this summer before the kids start school again! Lots of days sitting by the pool while they play will help! Plus I have them doing their own challenge, thanks to my local libraries summer reading program! Every Tuesday we go to the library for new books. I may not enjoy the heat of summer but I love the quality time with my kids during the summer. The heat is worth it.

I hate it when that happens!

Congrats. Keep up the good work and try to stay on the high ground from here on ..."Thanks. That's my plan!
My widget says I am 11 books ahead. Listening to audiobooks in the car on the way to work is the reason I am ahead.
Mine says I'm 23 ahead-- which is exactly how many audiobooks I've listened to this year. (you know, if I did my maths right...)
I didn't even think to look at how many of my total are audiobooks. I only started listening to audiobooks this year. I have 12 so far this year and I am 11 ahead so I guess that means I would be behind without the audiobooks.
Well, the audio division has given me pause. (Pun intended). My widget says I've finished 86 of 100 books and am 38 books ahead. However, about 60 of those books were audio. (Last year, my audio reads made up about half of my year.)
I still consider myself ahead of a good reading year. I can generally eyeball about 3 books a month on average in a good year, and I've managed 4, before the reading of summer has really gotten underway.
Without the audio, I would never have set my goal at 100 books. Audio has more than doubled my reading. It's no wonder I feel as though I'm swimming in words this year.

Audiobooks are absolutely magical things. You can get so much done whilst still listening to a book! I'm glad they're helping others, too.
I'm currently 6 books ahead of schedule, I'm happy with that! If I keep going at this rate I will have to be a little bit more adventurous with my goal next year!
I have no idea how I'm still one book ahead of schedule when I've been slacking so much! Really need a kick up the jacksie this month!Well done to all ahead of schedule, and those on track too! (:
*scream of terror* 4 books behind schedule. This when I assigned all fat ones for June. All time low!!
All time low!!
I think my widget has some issues, he expects so much! It's almost as though he wants me to read an entire book every day. Mean widget! I'm 9 books ahead now but that seems to be determined by how generous my widget feels. Vacation next week so hopefully I'll be able to get in a lot of reading while sitting on the beach. I've certainly packed for lots of reading!
Sandy wrote: Kassandra, maybe your widget will be on vacation also, and won't notice whether or not you are reading! :D Enjoy your holiday, and your books.I hope you're right Sandy!

It does seem a little bit arbitrary, doesn't it? I was 2 books ahead a couple days ago, and I just finished a book yesterday, so you'd think I'm at least 2 books ahead still, but no... only 1! Clearly my widget doesn't know how to count...

I think the widget is playing games. Maybe this is some kind of brilliant plan to pressure us all to read even more!
My widget is finally friends with me again, but I'm sure that will change again in a couple of days :) 11 books ahead as of today.
I really wish you could see how far or ahead you were on the iPhone app. All I have is how many books I've read.
34 out of 40, 13 books ahead of schedule. I'll probabaly just complete it and spend the rest of the year reading all the chunkster on shelves.
Oh, I could, but who knows if I could complete it if I do. I'll get to 40 first and if real life is not getting in the way too much I will.
Still 2 books behind on page 610 - 56% of Under the Dome Less than half of this chunkster left to go.
I havent checked my widget since I started Under the Dome. I am now 9 books ahead. I was 11 ahead before that.
I'll enjoy this for a moment as I'm sure it will be short lived...but for now...14 books ahead of schedule!
