Since updating, I am also 2 books ahead of schedule 4/50 - good start before school and work start again. Snowing outside - blanket and book all set for a day of reading (chores are done lol).
4 books ahead of schedule 6/50. --
I'm fluctuating between on goal and 1 ahead. I'm not too worried about it, since this is usually a slow reading month for me.
Yep now only 2 books ahead. Approx at the end/beginning of the month if I haven't kept current it drops one book. I don't worry about it this early in the year. It is when I start falling behind around early Autumn that I begin to worry. The farther behind I am the more I worry. Hehehe.
12/48 (25%) which means 5 books ahead of schedule. I do think this will become less, January just was a great month, had some time off and participated in the 24in48 readathon.
9/52 - 2 books behind. But works slows down for me in summer, and I am hoping to catch up by the end of summer.
I am 7 books ahead. Goal is 50 books and I have finished 34. (68%) I started the year with a goal of 24. I had that done in May so I adjusted my goal. I have added some audio books this year, and that has helped me get ahead of schedule. In general, I'm reading at least 2 books at any given time -- usually one physical book and one audio or digital. I'm also trying to do more books from the library - 21 of my 34 read are from the library.
I'm ahead, a lot ahead... but to be honest, my *real* aim is a lot more than I put in (I usually put in a lower amount not to feel guilty or bad if something happens in my life that would curb my reading number much), and I am not on track with the *real* aim - yet :D.

My goal is 300 but i only put in 250 and right now i am really ahead but to get to my actual goal i have to read about one book a day which i think will put me in a reading slump and i don't want that.
Finished book 11/12 Currently on Track as this year gets to the home stretch. I am also 32% through book 12 (which began as book 11). Hopefully I can finish it in the next few days. This year's goal is in sight. Last years was a bust with one book short.
WooooWhhoooo! Competed Chalenge 12 for 12. So relieved last year I was one book short of the goal. Hal-lay to the Loo-YEAH!
I'm 18 books ahead of schedule, largely in part to some comic books I read to finish Brightest Day. Anyway, I'm probably going to end up extending my goal, as usual.
I'm on 34/60, so 26 ahead of schedule. But I've been listening to audiobooks fairly obsessively because I've come across such great books. My goal last year was 24 so I upped it to 60 this year. My schedules ebbs and flows throughout the year so I will probably just leave my goal alone, but it's possible I'll get to 100 books this year at this rate. If I do, I will up my goal next year to 75 since I can never predict my schedule.
I am 1 book behind. Well that didn't take long. But I have recently become addicted to the Outlander Series. It is possible I could be unexpectedly reading a number of large books this year.

But back when #5 was out, I read 1-5 (often late at night) and yes, they were definitely addictive. When you're doing book challenges, I like to think that our goal is either total number of books OR total pages since that makes a difference! So far my books this month are longer than the books in previous months so I know I won't read quite as many, which is totally fine. I love a good long book!
I'm 6 books ahead of schedule but I guess that's partly because last month I read 3 very short books...On the other hand it doesn't include the 15 audiobooks I have listened to :)

Thanks! At some point, it's going to slow down because I have some long books on my list, but it's cool to be ahead for now. :)
