Diane | 2 comments I finished reading Go: A Kidd's guide to Graphic Design. I enjoyed the style and format Chip Kidd used in making this book stand out. I felt it was easy to understand and almost made me want to try my hand at graphic design. I enjoyed reading this. I also tried to read Eleanor & Park, I have heard so many good reviews about it, unfortunately, I was not able to get past the profanity in the first few pages, so I will be going on to something else.

Jmrunninglib | 25 comments I just finished this and plan on sending it down for my art department to look at. I thought it was well organized and easy to follow. I think it would be a great book for someone who wanted to learn graphic design.

Am I the only one who never realized there was an arrow in the FedEx logo? :)

This was a great read-- useful and entertaining!

bjneary | 19 comments I LOVED this book! I can't believe how much Chip Kidd has designed, illustrated, and been such a force in graphic design. I thought this book was easy to read, so interesting and informative, anyone would enjoy this guide to graphic design!!!

Ariel Birdoff (madam_pince) | 19 comments This book was great! Easy to understand and fun to read. I especially loved the chapter on typefaces. The activities at the end are a great addition! What a great book to have in a school library.

Lucie | 11 comments I really enjoyed this one... as everyone has said, it is so fun to read and browse. At my library, they have put it in the children's department, but I think my YAs will be the ones who really enjoy it most. I would recommend it to adults too, especially since it is fascinating to see how many famous covers and posters Chip Kidd has designed!

Jess (jmor) This was a fun and informative read. I especially liked the design projects Kidd includes at the end of the book, and his use of social networking to create a website for readers to share their work. I'd definitely recommend this to any teen interested in art.

Zahnii (Suzanne) Artis | 7 comments I loooooooved this book so much! I definitely did not know about the arrow in FedEx! :) I will definitely add this to our library collection...loved learning graphic design vocab - new words to me were picas, kerning, and leading. Excellent and so easy to follow. It also made me really want to explore graphic design more!!!! This artistic format really resonates with me!
