This folder is for asking for recommendations (of all genres) of books from your fellow group members. This is not only for genre-wise recommendations but suppose you want to read a book with a war hero, or a book where the female protagonist is blind, or something which will make you happy, or further, a book where one of the two protagonists gets a disease, you use this folder.

So, you see, basically, this folder in not for asking 'Young Adult', 'Historical' or likewise genre-based recommendations (do that in the this folder) but, this folder is for asking a recommendation based on the 'type of the book' or 'storyline of the book'.

=> When asking for recommendations, create your own folder and specify what exactly you want in the book.
=>Don't make more than 1 folder for the same type of recommendation.

Have fun!
Happy Reading:)

Hi Chandni! I had similar problems at the beginning. First of all. Start shelving your books- When you're writing a review for a book you've read, goodreads will have a tab for you to add shelves. You can type in and add new shelves in that too. (For example- funny, young adult, army hero, erotica, historical, six packs hero, realistic woman etc).

Secondly you search for books on google and goodreads in the beginning. After you have added them to your read books on goodreads and shelved them, then goodreads will give you suggestions according to your read books and the specific shelves as well.

Hopefully I have been of help to you!

Wahh! Sorry, Chandni. I absolutely missed the notification >.<

Here's an instruction list on how to create a thread: HERE

Try reading: A Bollywood Affair (Hero is half-Indian and heroine is Indian), another such book is Variables of Love
