Hi Goodreads members, I get to pick 3 BISAC codes for my book, The Dolorous Adventure of Brother Banenose. I'm going with Fantasy-Humorous & Fantasy-Historical, but I'm not sure about the third. I'm considering one of the LGBTQ codes because the female lead is bisexual & has a lesbian paramour, but I'm not sure if I should highlight that element if it's not the focus of the story. Alternatively I could go with a Christian code since the protagonist is a Franciscan, but most of the theosophy is esoteric so I'm not sure if it's wise to pigeonhole it. Maybe I should go with Black Humor as the violence is over the top? Thank you for your input.
