Breathers - Humans that up to this point are unaffected by the virus, and have not been infected by the undead.
Biters - Those infected by the virus, also called "Zombies," who feed on human flesh and organs; they ARE to be feared. They have no though process, and are always hungry. The only way they can be killed, is by a direct hit to the brain.
Infected - Humans that have been infected by the undead, but have not yet turned. They have the ability to think and feel; but they are sick and have many symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, fever, drowsiness, hallucinations, and soreness. They are equally capable of infecting another breather as biters are. They are on their way to becoming a biter; the process usually takes 72 hours.
