Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) I think promotion is for authors who have serials they promote that are for published and ones to buy or to give away and web serials are for ones at websites. I posted mine at the web serial one since they are both at my goodreads page.

Monica | 9 comments Wow, I thought that self-promos were only allowed under the "Promotion" folder, and that the "Web Serials" folder is for discussion of serials that we have been reading (not our own work obviously) and want to discuss. I would check with a mod to make sure, because I am almost positive this is supposed to be the case.

Amber (amberterminatorofgoodreads) well I've been posting mine at the web serial one because they are not published and are just on goodreads.

Originally the webserial forum was to discuss stories, things were reading, writing etc. and the Promotions was to keep things, like "hey here's where you can go and read MY serial" in one place.
However, you guys are very well behaved. I haven't seen anything offensive or overdone at this point, and as long as I don't, I probably won't enforce any boundaries.
We've been pretty lax from the beginning and its a friendly group. I like it that way.
If we do see issues at some point, we might have to further delineate the divide, or if it bothers anyone. Most of you know I pop in and out sort of infrequently. I would really appreciate heads ups or someone waving and shouting at me if I miss anything.
You guys are pretty great.
And I wish I could be on here more, my serial is my fun project, my guilty pleasure, and the one thing I get to completely, totally write for me.
It's nice to have this support network and so many folks on here now who can share that!
Thanks!
