On behalf of all of the folks wearing our homemade SUK DIK shirts out here in San Diego, thank you for every book you've written. Seriously some of the most enjoyable stuff I've ever read. Спасибо тебе большое, твои книги не только "cool", а "окулительные"!

Four questions, in order of importance (I apologize if any are repeats from other people, I didn't find these questions above anywhere):

1. Do you have another fictional work in the pipeline anytime soon?
2. Any word of a movie adaptation of any of your books on its way?
3. What would you think of a "fan fiction" story being written (posted online only, not published), based on the world of Super Sad? Would you be против?
4. When are you coming to San Diego? Everyone of the SUK DIK gang wants to buy you vodka and shashlik at the Russian restaurant when you do.

1. Will start writing new book this summer. Expect a thriller!
2. We're working on the script to Super Sad the TV show
3. I'm not against anything except violence and salmonella.

Thanks! I think if I had finished the book before asking the question, I wouldn't have had my answer there: yes, they did the best they could and lived such difficult lives that it must've made it increasingly hard for them to make levelheaded decisions after such an experience.

Brian, I certainly understood more about my parents when I finished writing the book and loved them all the more for it.

I was wondering the same thing... I'm glad someone asked! (In my version, your agent had to go find him and convince him to do the trailer, which seemed like a funny story in itself.)
