This scandal isn't the first of its kind. Some funeral owners re-use caskets. People buy one, bury the deceased in it, then unbury to take the casket out and leave the body in dirt.

Part of me says the bodies are hollow shells for their souls have long departed. So it wouldn't matter what happens to the bodies. And yet this disturbs me how people would think it's "okay" to shove the deceased around to make an extra buck.
