The way this is done on GR is by creating an alternate edition for the new Jan Ryder cover, which is I created here:https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
I also combined it with the other editions, which will retain all your reviews/ratings.
As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile. See here how to set the default edition of a book.
I've also changed back the primary author of the other books to J.E. Ryder. What remains to be done is to add Jan Ryder as secondary author for those books, however GR will not let me do it (whenever I do, it saves and brings me back to the book page, but only the primary author J.E. Ryder is listed even though I entered both names). I must be doing something wrong but I don't know what, so can another librarian please let me know how to add Jan Ryder to those books?

Ryan, I have reverted your title change for the book originally called "One Hundred Eighty Two Days in Afghanistan".Goodreads policy is to keep all published covers on the site, as users want to shelve the cover of the copy they have. Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition. See the author FAQ and this help topic for more information.
