LOL!

*crosses fingers* Let's start.

I confess I may have started a few minutes before giving you the heads up. I could have sworn I'd hit "post" but I hadn't! Anyway, I'll have to stop for a bit at 33% to go get some lunch. I'll be back in a few ;)

Couldn't stop reading, I ate and read it at the same time. :D

I'm at 43% now and have to say that I'm really having fun. Amber is amazing, she's just made me laugh for an entire minute. Finally a girl who says what she wants, without pretending she doesn't want or think about sex!

She glanced at him, then away.
"Probably."
"Definitely."
... just got chills...

I swear I rarely cry when reading, but this honestly made my eyes tear up and my throat thicken. I want to hold Tony so badly.

What do you think?
(The sex was WOW!)

Just finished. Where are you, babe? It actually ends much sooner than 100%. The last 10% is an excerpt of the next book in the series. I truly liked this... I wasn't necessarily WOWed by it, but it was a pretty good read. Novellas rarely pack a big punch, but this felt very well rounded. I was kind of hoping the next books would be about the Mazzara's... not the Clarks, so that was dissapointing (read the author's note). Also I just realized they're small town romances, which I'm not too much of a fan of. Will you keep going right away?

I finished it this afternoon and liked it.
I kinda hoped it was longer, though. I started it aware of the fact that it was a novella but still, it didn't stop me from wishing we could follow their relationship's development better.
From what the author's written at the end of the story, in the next one they're going to be already married. I'm a bit disappointed.
I like these men who are a perfect mix of alpha, sweetness and issues. It makes them more real and likeable. I have a thing for Tony, now, and I don't usually like the "Italian stallions" in books.
Anyway, I'm not going to start the new one right away, will finish the books I'm currently reading, first. Besides, I've also started another Classic and this one will require the 95% of my brain. ;)

I agree with all you said LOL, I also have a thing for Tony now. I read somwhere that apparently the last novel in this series will be about Tony and Amber, now married and having kids. I may just read that one, because he was such a delight. It makes me excited that this is not the end, because yeah,it was pretty short. This is one of the reasons I always read novella's with caution. They have the tendency to leave you wanting more. What classic are you reading? Sounds heavy!

Aww, how cool! Let's BR it together, then! Do you know already when it comes out?
As for the novella's, I agree, the same happened with Cara McKenna's "Willing Victim". It was hot, the characters were fantastic, but it ended too soon!
Men should all be like Tony, I hate it when they're too confident, it makes me hate them a little.
I want a person, and one who hasn't suffered isn't a man I'd ever waste my time for.
Besides, it turns me one when they show their fragility! ;P
I'm reading "Sons and Lovers" by D.H. Lawrence. Heavy stuff.

I don't know when it comes out but as soon as I find out, I will let you know :)) Never read D.H. Lawrence, but I'll be happy to watch out for your updates. I do love interspersing a few classics with my smutty romances ;)
