★ Larissa ~ book crusher ~ Woohoo... crossing fingers, babe! I hope this one makes up for that other one! Let's do it.

★ Larissa ~ book crusher ~ Ok... babe... starting this now. Never read anything by this author. Hope she blows my mind.

*crosses fingers* Let's start.

★ Larissa ~ book crusher ~ 28%.. haha... "Son of a biscuit!". This chick says the silliest things. I'm actually really liking this. Tony is pretty hot.

Cam *tactile seeker* 28% already?! I'm still at 2%! XD
Ice skating distracted me.

★ Larissa ~ book crusher ~ hahaha... I love figure skating. It's so mesmerizing.

I confess I may have started a few minutes before giving you the heads up. I could have sworn I'd hit "post" but I hadn't! Anyway, I'll have to stop for a bit at 33% to go get some lunch. I'll be back in a few ;)

Cam *tactile seeker* "Tony Mazzara had a dazzling smile. Like a toothpaste commercial dipped in a porn movie".

So funny!

Cam *tactile seeker* 33%: this is seriously cute. Definitely an improvement, compared to our previous BR.
Couldn't stop reading, I ate and read it at the same time. :D

★ Larissa ~ book crusher ~ It is extremely well written. Their dialogue is witty and thank heavens the heroine is likeable. An improvement over that gold-digging ho from the last book.

Cam *tactile seeker* LOL, so right, honey!
I'm at 43% now and have to say that I'm really having fun. Amber is amazing, she's just made me laugh for an entire minute. Finally a girl who says what she wants, without pretending she doesn't want or think about sex!

★ Larissa ~ book crusher ~ 42% "You know what happens if I come up."
She glanced at him, then away.
"Probably."
"Definitely."

... just got chills...

Cam *tactile seeker* 57% and I have to say that I'm loving the way Ruthie describes sex.

★ Larissa ~ book crusher ~ ...oh my God... 69% and this is me right now:

I swear I rarely cry when reading, but this honestly made my eyes tear up and my throat thicken. I want to hold Tony so badly.

Cam *tactile seeker* I'm at 60%, will finish this afternoon but I feel like we should keep reading this series.
What do you think?
(The sex was WOW!)

Just finished. Where are you, babe? It actually ends much sooner than 100%. The last 10% is an excerpt of the next book in the series. I truly liked this... I wasn't necessarily WOWed by it, but it was a pretty good read. Novellas rarely pack a big punch, but this felt very well rounded. I was kind of hoping the next books would be about the Mazzara's... not the Clarks, so that was dissapointing (read the author's note). Also I just realized they're small town romances, which I'm not too much of a fan of. Will you keep going right away?

I finished it this afternoon and liked it.
I kinda hoped it was longer, though. I started it aware of the fact that it was a novella but still, it didn't stop me from wishing we could follow their relationship's development better.
From what the author's written at the end of the story, in the next one they're going to be already married. I'm a bit disappointed.
I like these men who are a perfect mix of alpha, sweetness and issues. It makes them more real and likeable. I have a thing for Tony, now, and I don't usually like the "Italian stallions" in books.
Anyway, I'm not going to start the new one right away, will finish the books I'm currently reading, first. Besides, I've also started another Classic and this one will require the 95% of my brain. ;)

I agree with all you said LOL, I also have a thing for Tony now. I read somwhere that apparently the last novel in this series will be about Tony and Amber, now married and having kids. I may just read that one, because he was such a delight. It makes me excited that this is not the end, because yeah,it was pretty short. This is one of the reasons I always read novella's with caution. They have the tendency to leave you wanting more. What classic are you reading? Sounds heavy!

Aww, how cool! Let's BR it together, then! Do you know already when it comes out?
As for the novella's, I agree, the same happened with Cara McKenna's "Willing Victim". It was hot, the characters were fantastic, but it ended too soon!
Men should all be like Tony, I hate it when they're too confident, it makes me hate them a little.
I want a person, and one who hasn't suffered isn't a man I'd ever waste my time for.
Besides, it turns me one when they show their fragility! ;P

I'm reading "Sons and Lovers" by D.H. Lawrence. Heavy stuff.

I don't know when it comes out but as soon as I find out, I will let you know :)) Never read D.H. Lawrence, but I'll be happy to watch out for your updates. I do love interspersing a few classics with my smutty romances ;)
