Jeannie Lewis Oh sweet zoe! I always felt bad because she wanted a baby so bad and then serenity happened. Mal and Inara were destined to happen but I think destined to fail as well. We had better freaking see how early survived or I will hunt joss down!

Jack Gallegos I agree that they are destined to fail. There is no way in hell that Mal would be okay with her going back to being a companion. In fact, I get the feeling that that is why he's still in hiding after all this time. He knows if he goes back to society, he will lose her.

Does Mal know Jayne went off to be with his mother? Doesn't seem like it. Or did Jayne leave for a different reason?
