Do any of the Harry Potter characters remind you of characters in other books? Or do you remind yourself of someone in the book? Discuss here, and you'll probably be surprised at what you find out! :)

Harry displays a lot of the hero characteristics that appear in other books that I enjoy - like the Percy Jackson character for example (both display bravery, quick thinking, humor, and a little luck. They also have someone older and wiser helping them along the way).
Dumbledore has always reminded me of Gandalf from the Lord of the Rings in both style and in the movie - looks.
On a side note...just tonight I was shopping at Walmart with my oldest son and we both agreed that the lady who checked us out was the exact spitting image of Luna Lovegood. She had the same high-pitched voice, the airy manner, and she even had the blue round protruding eyes. It was almost erie!

I agree. And it's always weird to see look-a-likes. I see a lot of random strangers who are spitting images of famous actors, or who remind me of certain characters. Cool though! :)
