Published in late 60's or early 70's. Standard inexpensive romance/mystery for that time. Maybe published by Puffin or Signet. Heroine is named Paige. She's in her 20's and I don't think she has any parents but has an aunt. She is being followed by art thieves (I think) and wears a pink jade or turquoise pendant to draw them out. She is being protected by a "pretend" boyfriend who is linked to some agency like the FBI. They end up falling in love and foil the thieves. Kind of cheesy but not knowing the title is driving me crazy.

It was an inexpensive paperback - for the life of me, I can't recall anything else. Since my original post, the full name 'Paige Wilburn' or 'Paige Marburn' comes to mind but I may have heard those last names somewere else. I searched on both and nothing popped up.
Do you remember what time period the book was set in?
I know it wasn't historical. I seem to remember a 60's/early 70's feeling to it. There was a dinner cruise involved (I'm pretty sure), she wore a scarf on her head, and I think she was a college graduate, maybe art history or something like that. One scenario I remember is Paige and her fake boyfriend (he's with some FBI-type agency)are having dinner and she sees an older couple eating dinner and enjoying each other's company. Her character hopes that she can find the same type of relationship. Thanks to all for helping out!
