When Julian found out Lena was one and when Lena found out Alex was one. I hope Alex isn't dead, I liked him. I like Julian too, but I don't know who I like better. (hide spoiler)]

Finished the book! There was just a lot going on the last few pages that I need to let sink in. I love the twists.

I loved this book but I'm really hoping that Lena won't turn out to be another Bella Swan trying to combine two worlds. I understand that she was drawn to Julian because she thought Alex is dead. But now, things just got complicated! Good luck with that Lena! :)

Chapters 1,2&3 / Then, Now & Then

(view spoiler)[ I am really enjoying this book so far, and I love how it is written in different 'sections' (Then and Now). It kind of adds a sense of mystery because it makes you wonder about the lead up to events and how she became part of the DFA (Deliria-Free America). Definitely 5/5 stars so far! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 4&5 / Now, Then

(view spoiler)[ I really like the part when Lena goes back into the auditorium where the DFA meeting was held, because it changed the way I viewed different characters. Before, Julian seemed quite arrogant almost, another "walking dead" as the Invalids call them. But after the fourth chapter, where he was sitting in the dark and imagining he was in beautiful landscapes such as mountains and forests, it makes him seem so much more vulnerable and gentle, less of a superior being but more of an equal.
Also Chapter 5 I'm liking how the writer shows how Lena's strength builds and how her feelings towards the Wilds begin to change. At first she wasn't willing to do any work but now she is volunteering to do work of her own free will, like she wants to be able to help the other Invalids of the homestead and be strong.
