Ugh. I really wanted to get this out on Monday but this week has been insane. I have a conference starting at 7:30 AM tomorrow that goes through the weekend, so hopefully I can get my husband to take it to the post office tomorrow or Saturday. I'll keep you posted.

We've all had delays getting the books out. I know I did. So, yea, no worries, Kristen. I'm just so happy the book is moving. Before I know it, I'll be able to rip open a package and pet it and ooh and ahhh over the postcards included in the package (my favorite part!). ;)
lol. the post cards were my delay. as it turns out, no one here sells them! DH had to take the train from DC to NYC yesterday so he picked some up at the train station yesterday. I just didn't have time!
I OBSESS over what postcards I'm going to send. hahahah.. I'm lucky in that they are all over here but there are TOOOO many to choose from. I've had mine sitting on my dresser since we first decided to do this Around the World. ;)
I had my husband pick up postcards (he had a business trip) when we first decided to do this. I didn't want to send the same ones as last time so I'm going with the closest big city instead of my small town.And no worries about the delay. I'll just have to finish up what I'm reading so I'm ready to read this book when it comes in.

Okay! The Book has been shipped and should arrive no later than Thursday, per the post office :). Becky, I'll PM you the tracking number so you can watch for it.
Book arrived today! Woohoo! I just realized, though, that I'm going away this weekend and have a busy week next week. Hopefully, I'll be able to read it and get it on the road again in a few weeks. Thanks, Kristen!

woohoo! glad it arrived earlier than the post office said it would. though I admit I couldn't figure out how it would take them almost a week to go from VA to PA unless they walked it there :D. it's a quick and easy read. hopefully you enjoy it :)
About 2/3 of the way through. Hoping to finish up this weekend and get it out before Thanksgiving (for us US folks.) I see Teri from GA is next. I'll send her a message.
I am enjoying most of it. The whole 1 girl & 2 boys thing again (sigh)...I find overused in YA. This one isn't quite as bad as others but I still am tired of triangles.I find the mom & her boyfriend most detestable which must mean that they are well written. Willie is a fun & interesting character.
The story does go quickly, it's just that I haven't had too much time to sit down and read.
Packing up the book and the treasures today. Should go out today, too, since I live really close to the post office.

I enjoyed most of it. I didn't connect to Josie as much as I thought I should have. I really liked Willie and Cokie, though. Guess I have a dark side to me.

I received the book today! All the postcards and bookmarks look so cool!! I'm so excited to read the book!
I just joined the group so it's probably too late to ask if I could be added to the list so that I can read the book, isn't it? It looks so good! If it isn't too late, I live in Arkansas, so as you can see, I need things to read to keep me busy! Arkansas is so boring!
