Saima Its a very tough time we are passing. And it is said that now in the world there is only one God named media who controlled us, made us laugh, made us cry, made us react and above all made us live. We know things only they want us to know. And in this way we know the world now. These critical analyses are discovered and disclosed for the first time by Noam Chomsky and S, Harman in this Manufacturing Consent in a very systematic way. So its a great book that every conscious people should read....

Norman Consider the American media's reporting on Iran over the past two years...has it been balanced and objective? Twenty-five years ago the 'boogeymen' were all in the Soviet Union; fifteen years ago Libya's Qaddafi was painted as a threat to the U.S.; leading up to the invasion (yes...INVASION) of Iraq, the media reports on Saddam Hussein became increasingly critical, portraying him as brutal, repressive, etc. Has there EVER been an objective report on North Korea? (other than the James Bond film, of course) And lately Iran's leader has been a prime target. Accidental...or intentional?

If you're not sure, read this book or practically anything else Chomsky has written over the past few decades.
