I read a book last year and now I can't remember the name or author. It was about a girl and her friend that moved to Texas for school. The girls roommate had a cousin that was older that also attended the college. I'm sorry I cant remember any names! Ok so the cousin kept asking her out but she refused. Then she ahs these 2 guys move into the apartment across from her. They were originally from flordia but got moved to texas with the police force as undercover trying to find a murderer that was killing girls and always leaving a carnation. The main character found one of the guys really attractive and started hanging out with him as a friend and her roommate hooked up with his friend casually. They guys couldn't tell them they were there undercover. The more they hung out the more she fell for him. The cousin of her roommate turned out to be the serial killer an he was after her. The guys ended up cathing him in the act of trying to kill her an she found out that the guy she thought she fell in love with wasn't who she thought she was all along bc he was undercover. She moves back home with her roommate and he goes back to flordia bc the killer was caught an they are both miserable. Their roomates stay in touch an scheme to get them back together. Finally she goes to flordia to be with him. Shes not there long an then she gets kidnapped by a gang that is out for him from a past undercover job he did. The book ends with him freaking out wondering if he can get her back!!
