Another Crossover is coming

Rick Riordan just announced another Greek/Egyptian crossover to be published this year.

It's called The Staff of Serapis and includes Annabeth Chase and Sadie Kane.

There is the first few pages online. It is going to be awesome!!! The first few pages don't say much. I know it is coming out in April. Since it is part of HoO,it was narrated by Annabeth.

When do these take place? Not before Heroes of Olympus, because they would have mentioned it, right? I know that the Son of Sobek didn't, so.....are they a spoiler saying, Oh yeah, Percy and Annabeth make it out ok from the huge epic battle with Gaea, and they don't even think about it or the other four plus people involved in it....someone help me out here.

I think Rick goofed on the timeline. He probably should have made it take place before The Lost Hero, but he slipped something into Son of Sobek that rules that out. So, yes, it has to take place after Blood of Olympus. But it's not that big of a spoiler, is it? I mean, do you really think he'll kill off Percy or Annabeth at this stage?

I remember a fan asking about it in his official twitter site, and he had replied (in his sassy way of course) that he deliberately did not tell that at what timeline it happened, so that readers keep guessing.
