When will there be a Prydian movie remake?

Dear Goodreads users.
I remember reading all 5 of Lloyd Alexanders Prydain books after I've seen the 1985 Disney cartoon version of The Black Cauldron and after reading the book and seeing the cartoon movie adaptation I thought it was mediocre or being a rushed job of cramming 2 books The Book of Three and The Black Cauldron into 1 rushed movie. Lloyd Alexander thought it was enjoyable in it's own rights but his friends were very upset with the movie changes.
I even asked the Disney company If they were going to do a Black Cauldron movie remake but they didn't show interest at all and didn't make any plans.
Do you think that there will be a Black Cauldron movie remake either by professional Hollywood people or by fan fiction youtube amateurs?
Let me know what you think because I'm interested in a Black Cauldron movie remake.

I think a live action version--that sticks to the books--would be great.
I agree there should be a movie. Or perhaps tv series, if there is worry about five movies being profitable. In my opinion, every book-to-movie adaptation I have seen that tried to combine aspects of more than one book to make one movie did not work.
I made a proposal for a movie or tv series at the Imagine Film List, which is a site where people submit suggestions for movies, in the hopes that if there is enough support for an adaptation, filmmakers will take interest. The Chronicles of Prydain were my favorite book series growing up. I don't know how many times I've read it. And I remember enjoying the movie The Black Cauldron, though I saw it when I was very young.
I'd love to see it made into a series a la HBO or a straight movie series. Hollywood always messes with the plot in book to movie translations, but as long as you can accept that fact up front, it makes it easier to deal with.

I read all the books before the movie came out. The trailer horrified me so much I refused to ever see it in its entirety. A travesty.
they already made the lord of the rings into a movie though.
