Finally!! Someone who sees it as I did... I love the book series, but the movie was extremely disappointing... especially since it did feel like it was sped up. It followed the book but at the wrong times. I only saw the movie once, normally if I enjoyed it I would go back a second time. As much as I didn't like a few of the harry potter movies, I would probably watch the whole series again before watching Vampire Academy once more.

This the testimony of my life on how i became a vampire i was browsing on the internet when i saw that there is vampire in Nigeria that is helping people to become vampires and i have always ed wanted to be come a vampire so i emailed the Vampire (John) and he asked me to send down some information about my self which i did and he told me that he was going to send me the blood of a vampire that when i receive it he is going to instruct me on how to use it and i will be come a vampire i was very happy and i sent him my address. After that he asked me to send down some money which he is going to use in sending down the blood which i am going to use i was very skeptical and doubtful because i have heard so much about the Nigeria scams but i was very desperate and i sent him the money and he told me that he has sent the parcel. Four days time i received the parcel and i was very happy i emailed him and he gave me the instructions on how to use it and how to control it when i did what he asked i was so amazed that i became a vampire.. I am so very happy as i promised him that i am going to tell the hole world about him if he can help and that is exactly what i am doing.. Just personal opinion, and this is to not offend others cause everyone has their individual tastes, but I thought the book was so simply terrible and over the top (much like twilight) and that granting it film rights was a bad move. Many other books deserve to be adapted, and by choosing another vampire novel was plain stupid.
Not to mention, the film looked like it was a parody of something. Whoever was directing and doing costumes clearly hated the novel too, cause Vampires Suck looked more like an original film than that did.

I think the Director was the same Director as Mean Girls so the parody silly angle kind of makes sense in a way.

28 bucks for a movie? Holy crap!? That's dedication right there. I agonized over spending 30 bucks on a season of Boardwalk Empire and eventually decided on a two for a discounted price special lol.

I went a seen the movie and it does follow the book a lot and I think that could be one of the reasons it didn't do so well, and the other reason is the actors where not very good in it. I love VA read all the books and was looking forward to the movie, but when I watched it, it was kind of boring, the book was a lot better to read that go watch. maybe if they got better actors and did like they did twilight strayed from the book a little it would have been better.
