Rod (baron_von_rodenheimer) | 27 comments "Terry Andrews" is the pseudonym of children's author George Selden, known primarily for the classic The Cricket in Times Square and its sequels. The Story of Harold is decidedly not a children's book; although its protagonist is a noted children's author—like Selden himself—he is also a bisexual, sadomasochistic libertine in freewheeling late-'60s Greenwich Village.

As far as I know, this is the only book Selden published pseudonymously, and the only non-children's book. It is a very rewarding read that is worth seeking out.

I post my review and mark monday's much better one.
