Jennifer How it should have ended (hishe.com) will have a FIELD DAY with this one when the movie comes out.

**Primrose Everdeen** [the end]

Madolyn Fishburn *Spoiler* Prim should no have died. That is like taking away the whole purpose of Katniss going through all she did.

. I really don't get why a lot of people don't like this book! And I facepalm when they say Prim shouldn't have died - of course she SHOULDN'T have, just like Rue, Finnick or Cinna, etc but Prim's death was very significant and it serves as a message.
I personally loved Mockingjay because its political and social message is very powerful and it's realistic, the ending was perfect because that's what it's like in real life. Katniss and Peeta are broken by the end of it and why wouldn't they be after all they've been through! In real wars, it doesn't end like in Harry Potter where 'all was well'. It's just not like that. I loved Mockingjay.

Emily Johnson I thought the book was alright, but it seemed rushed. So many characters died for no good reason. I agree, about the whole prim thing. I wish she hadn't died. :(

I loved the first two, they were fantastic books! Mockingjay wasn't a great end to the trilogy. I was glad it was realistic after how bad everything got at the end. I found the epilogue a little strange.

I gave the book 3 stars, at least it answered all my questions after catching fire and was pretty exciting.

Patrí I couldn't think of a better ending for the book. I did like it. But there was something missing. Maybe because it was rushed, and the pacing is fast. And there are characters who died for stupid reasons. They're in a war so it's natural that there will be people dying. It's just...the feels.

Jennifer It just felt like everyone was just "settling" that there was no really *happy* ending. It was just "the end"

boo.

Finy McMullee depressing much!?!?
