Comment down below an analysis of one of the characters from the book you read.
E.g. Elias from An Ember in the Ashes
He is the top student of Blackcliff Military Academy but unlike the others, he hates the Empire. Blah blah blah

My rating
2-2.5/5 stars
Not Amused
Welll, I'll talk about my opinion on the book a bit before the character analysis. So the book.....
Ummmm... I enjoyed it for the most part. I didn't like the writing style and the vocabulary is commonly seen in most Young Adult books. So that's 2 stars off the rating. The plot was great in the beginning but then IT TOOK THE MOST CLICHÉ TURN EVER. Which brought the rating down to a 2-2.5

Character Analysis
None of the characters particularly interested me. Neville was too grumpy at times and just didn't have the best dialogue, Rusell and Scott were meh and you, of course, can't discover the lives of the victims, can't you? So I'm just going to talk about the murderer. When I first read the book, it was the murderer's chapter. He was so twisted and for a second, I thought I had a competitor against the Bill Hodges trilogy by Stephen King, a trilogy whose books have the murderer's point of view. You get to see him in action, planning his "adventures", his motives. However, the author had to take a cliché move towards the end after everything, which made the book a lot worse than I expected it to be since I like something that is unique, not the general idea of what it's supposed to be. Although he did take a move to confuse me just by 0.000001%, I still wasn't impressed.

Conclusion
Overall, for the beginners in reading, or in the genre, they may give this a 4 or 5 but I have seen much better, with better plot twists too. So I definitely recommend you read this IF you have NEVER ventured into reading. At all. But if you read books, and want to start this genre, I suggest you pick up another book*cough*The Boundless by Kenneth Oppel*cough*since this is a kind of good beginner's book, but there are so many more that are better out there.

User | 19 comments first of all, my book contains 5 different interesting stories, but i'm only going to talk about one character in one story.
the character i'm going to talk about is Harry from the story "Finders Keepers" in the book "The Fruitcake Special and Other Stories."
Harry was an archaelogist as well as a thief. he was very hardworking and loved to collect antiques, however, he couldnt afford to buy the antiques he liked, so, he stole them. he keeps the items he stole in his house, and he lives alone. once he was told by Professor Teo to examine the ancient pots and vases from a large old grave. he found a whistle which could stop time and any other movements once it was blown. however, he did not tell the professor about the whistle, instead, he kept it to himself and brought it home. and that incident made him a dishonest yet selfish person. he used the whistle as an advantage to steal the expensive antiques. and that made him even more dishonest.
overall, Harry was a hardworking, smart, but dishonest and selfish person. this book, "The Fruitcake Special and Other Stories" is very interesting and i rate it 4.5/5. i totally recommend this to girls who love short yet amazing stories.

Yasmin Nur Helisa | 19 comments Two Worlds Level 4 Intermediate (Cambridge Discovery Readers) by Helen Everett-Camplin
Hi guys! I have just read the book entitled "Two Worlds" by Helen Everett-Camplin. This book is about three teenagers who left their home countries for different reasons. I'm going to talk about one of the main characters, her name is Safi.
Safi is a teenage girl who likes writing poems and diary about her adventures. She is humorous and kind. Although she was an ordinary girl, she has lots of friends. She seems to be surrounded by good people. However, in an instant, people who are close to her turned their back on her and changed. A lot bullied her, some said bad things about her because of her race. Her language was ignored.Books about them were burned. Safi's, as well as her family's life, changed drastically.
This book tells us about many unfortunate teenagers, kids, or people who suffer from racism. I recommend this book to you guys who like about social life around us,and I will rate this boook 4/5

Christiana Clara | 18 comments So the book I am reading is Sherlock Holmes. It was a quite interesting story since it's about mystery and crimes.
The main character of this book is Sherlock Holmes, I think that he is a very smart detective. He is so careful to find clues about the case. He is also a heavy smoker and quite arrogant. He also has no interest in emotions, he is so plain. I think that he also has a quite high IQ, so smart! He is a very intelligent detective!
That's all for my character analysis. Thank you!

Chu Wei | 17 comments нєℓℓσ guys again, its me again. this is to cool you down a bit before reading my character analysis, __φ(..) . So my book this time is "The Accidental Tourist".

The main character is *drumroll* Macon! Macon in my opinion is a scaredy cat and a follower, he makes does not make decision but listen to other people you call that smart, I call that stupid. Let us forget that he is a follower but remember that he is a writer.

Extra this book is about this Mason guy but also about romance, and 2 "love lines".

THANK YOU THE END

Jessica Fredlina | 18 comments I read the book about is "The Mayor of Casterbridge". I find the story interesting but I don't like any of the characters in this book. There are five characters in this book and one of them is Michael Henchard. He is a farm worker who rises to become the Mayor of Casterbridge. He is married to Susan Henchard, who is a weak woman. I would rate this book 3/5 as the story is interesting but not that interesting in my opinion.
That's all!

KTT Tanjung | 13 comments Yo guys, Hi again This is KTT
Today I am going to write a character Analysis about three person in my book titled ‘The age of innonce’
I am going to write about Newland Archer, May Welland, and Ellen Olenska
So basically, this book is about love triangle. Newland was ask to marry May because she is beautiful and come from a rich family. Then when May’s cousin came which is Ellen, Newland faced a new love.

Newland Archer:
He is a lawyer and not a selfish person. He obeys the rules from the society. He is a nice person. Even though he likes Ellen, he still says with may because he loved his children so much.

Ellen Olenska:
She is not a worker. She gets money from her family and her husband. Ellen is a free woman that doesn’t obey society rules. She is not a selfish person because she let Newland stay with May even though she is about to leave. Her husband is a European. He is a famous and powerful man. Ellen wanted to divorce with him but his family won’t let her because if they divorce if might make their family name ashamed. Ellen wanted to divorce with her husband before she even met Newland. When she meet Newland, Ellen fell in love with him.

May Welland:
She is also not a worker. She also obeys the rules and came from a rich family. She is kinda selfish because she said she was pregnant to both Ellen and Newland when she found out that both of them like each other.
That’s all for now. Hope you enjoy

Joelynn Tamrin | 28 comments In this book I like the main character Aku-nna. She respects elder people and is caring of her brother, mother and especially her father.
Although sometimes she may be stubborn, she is still a beautiful, and highly intelligent and polite girl.

Posting this for Stanley's sake so here you go.

SECRETbooksHUNTER This book is a very interesting book. It is a mystery about someone's death, someone that has different personalities trying to take over the life of someone who is dead already since that person resembles him. I highly recommend this book for readers who love mystery. (less)
