Book case question!

OK y'all so I am getting a built in entertainment center and 2 book cases made and should b done in the next few days. Of course I want to fill it up with as many books as I possibly can, but I also wanted to put some. Cool.book related stuff up there too, was wondering if anyone had any ideas. I do but I only have a few and can't really picture it. Any ideas r sooooo totally welcome

You could write youre fave quotes on papers,laminate them and put them on the shelf?

You could have a special display of your favorite bookmarks if you like bookmarks. ^-^ Or you could special display your favorite books.

You could get some fancy book ends.

Seconding book ends. Fancy notebooks are nice too. My mom has one of a Buddha on her shelf.

Really anything decorative works. I like glass jars filled with things like sand, shells, rocks, etc. Or anything small that you collect...I have a few of the Schleich fantasy pieces (fairies and dragons) on mine. Any special book swag, including bookmarks, is fun. Have any pic of meeting authors? Frame those, put those on as well :)

I have snowglobes on mine. Around Christmas, I put a Victorian village on top. The top is the only place I have room for that kind of stuff. Mine is dangerously full.
