Blogger, Wordpress, and everything in between

Hi everyone! I'm stumped and could use some advice. My blog needs a major makeover, and I've been doing research into what the best blogging platforms are. I currently have Blogger, but I've been looking into Wordpress and Wix. I need to basically clean out all of my HTML, and I wanted to customize my blog more and give it a facelift. I find that Blogger doesn't allow tons of customization, but if I'm going to pay for a custom domain, I don't want to spend money on a template. Any tips, advice, or hellos are much appreciated! :D

I'm still a huge fan of blogger, I tried wordpress and was not happy at all with it.
