I have just finished writing my first novel. I am an Australian looking for an American Editor preferably one that is familiar with New York City.

I'm not an American editor but have been to NYC a number of times. I am fully qualified and have been editing since 2008 for both authors and publishers alike (can always supply references if needed).
I am always willing to edit the first 1000 words for free so you can see how I work and also so I can see how little or how much input you need.

A little about me: I'm a professional editor and ghostwriter with over nine years of experience. I work primarily with romance & literary novels, but have experience in a variety of other genres and project lengths as well. The Chicago Manual of Style is my bible, and I use Track Changes in MS Word so you can see exactly where I edited, and why.

Also, I have family in New York City and have visited numerous times. It's basically like a second home to me. :)
