Changing profile information

I recently had some issues with linking my works and optimizing search because of the periods in my author name. to make it easier for readers to find me, I'd like to edit my author name from J.D. Estrada to JD Estrada (no periods). I've added other books under that author name, but since I can't change my profile, my books don't appear. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but it's Goodreads standard to add the periods. I'm afraid we really can't make an exeption without staff making the decision.

Merging profiles.

ETA: btw, the periods shouldn't affect search anymore. ;)

Ok, good to know and thanks so much for the prompt reply. Follow up question, how about claiming titles as mine on my profile? Right now only one appears and the lack of tech savvy on my part is bordering on silly. :)

No problem. :) All your books link to the correct profile, so it's likely just a caching issue. They should appear shortly (10 minutes to a couple of days).

Great to know and yet again thanks for the prompt reply. Seriously, companies should take a look at this discussion board to know what the meaning of being helpful is.
