As long as you are sure they referring to shoes (and not just the heels of her foot) it works :)

Ok Jennifer here is the whole part of that just to be sure. I think they are talking about heels from the shoes though.

The sound of heels approaching quickly on the marble floor interrupted our conversation. Those heels belonged to the very angry Lady Northbrook, Lily's mother and my mother's erstwhile friend.
