I used to build my own desktops too, until last year when circumstances dictated a laptop.
When I can be arsed to build a new one, I'll be going back to a desktop as a main machine.
The laptop is all right, but I prefer the separate monitor, keyboard and so on as others have said.

I have a bad attitude to computers. I used to worry about them until I realised that they cost less to replace than a set of tractor front tyres
(Just for the record I really don't like replacing tractor tyres either!)

It just struck me that given our altitude, yaks would probably suffer from oxygen sickness down here because the air's too thick

Obviously I don't know anybody who's ploughed with yak but bullocks are apparently pretty good once you get them trained
