August 2015 Group Read #1: Dead Sea by Tim Curran

At 17% in, omg I hope they aren't swimming in what I think. This book is great so far but I'm afraid I am in over my head with 3 grp reads this month. But I'm trying guys! :)

Dead Sea would make a great beach read. If you're near Isle of Palms, be sure to smile for the sharks :)

I'm at half way point and I'm kinda bored with similar events happening. 80% is indeed a late bloomer

I'm trying to hurry & finish Choir of ill children because I got it from the library and I bought dead sea. but I like dead sea better so far.

I really think it can be trimmed at least a quarter to half. Basically 2 teams, shipwrecked, meet different "aliens", discovery , payback time, back to the future. 3* ..."
Agree--so much repetition, combined with the constant puerile dialog, really hurt what was a pretty good story.
